08/12/23 evening – Remembering Krsna at the Time of Death (English translation) – Bhavanagar, India | Srila BV Vana Maharaja

  • Following the ekadasi fast is like executing all other vows. Ekadasi is Bhagavat-svarupa.
  • The difference between human beings and animals lies in the possibility (and impossibility) of doing bhajana.
  • By associating with the sadhu, the cycle of birth and death ceases.
  • The body is like a house where the tenant lives. The contract is over, you have to leave.
  • Wherever you are, whatever you are doing: Bhaja Govinda – chant Hare Krsna!
  • Without harinama, it is not possible to reach Krsna.
  • Stay in whatever ashram you are in, but chant the holy names.
  • Following the Parampara, chant the holy names under any circumstances.
  • Without using kanti mala and tilaka, life is useless.
  • At the time of death, if you put a Tulasi leaf and a drop of Ganges water in your mouth, you reach the spiritual world.
  • The emergence of Ekadasi: the pastime of Visnu and the demon Mura Advaita.
  • Only the names of the Lord lead to Krsna. Never forget, always remember Krsna.
