- Worldly people want kama (pleasure), artha (economic development) and dharma (religion).
- Some want to merge with Brahman (the effulgence of the Lord’s body). This is like spiritual suicide, for jivas are eternal servants of the Lord (CC Madhya 20.108).
- Five types of liberation:
1- Sarsti: to reach opulences equal to those of the Lord.
2- Sarupya: to have a form like the Lord.
3- Samipya: to live as a personal associate of the Lord.
4- Salokya: To live on a Vaikuṇṭha planet.
5- Sayujya: To merge with the Brahmanic effulgence of the Lord. - Devotees don’t want these liberations, much less sayujya. Pure devotees only want to serve the Lord!
- In Vaikuntha there is sukha aisvarya-uttara (desire for happiness) and prema-seva-uttara (desire to serve).
- Those who merge with Brahman remain forever like a stone at the bottom of a lake. There is no mood of service.
- In Vaikuntha, santa-rasa is prominent.
- The nature of the demons is to always disturb.
- Above Vaikuntha is Ayodhya, where dasya-rasa is prominent.
- Santa-rasa has only nistha; dasya-rasa has nistha and serva-vrtti (knowledge of relationship and mamata, property).
- There are two kinds of love: grta-sneha (like butter) and madhu-sneha (like honey).
- Hanuman is an example of pure dasya-rasa.
- We should offer obeisances to all the places of the Lord’s pastimes.
- If you want to become a servant of Srimati Radhika, Lalita-devi will pick you up and take you to Srimati Radhika.
- Sakya-rasa has nistha, seva-vrtti and friendship, just like Subal and Sridama.
- Those who criticise others are on the same level as demons.
- The index finger is outside the japa bag.
- The story of the sieve and the needle.
- Subala and Sridama, dear friends of Krishna.
- Very funny story of Subala pretending to put rasagula in Krsna’s mouth; and other lilas.
- Nanda and Yasoda are examples of vatsalya-rasa (having nistha, seva-vrtti, friendship and parental love).
- Krsna’s lila of breaking Mother Yasoda’s butter pot.
- The gopis are an example of madhurya-rasa.
- Radha has five kinds of sakhis: sakhi, nitya-sakhi, prana-sakhi, priya-sakhi, and parama-prestha-sakhi.
- Caitanya Mahaprabhu came and distributed prema-madhurya to everyone.
- Life spans in each yuga.
- Our sadhana (process) and sadhya (goal) are the same.
- Abandon falsehood and hypocrisy, we must be the same on the outside as we are on the inside.
