– On mandira, kirtana and sankirtana.
– Do not ask Bhagavan for material things, as you will receive them according to your karma.
– Bharata asked Ganga-devi for a boon that his love for Rama would always grow. This is a lesson for us on how to pray.
– Bhagavan only looks at bhava and bhakti.
– Indra tried to kill Vritrasura, but failed.
– Vritrasura-katha: the attachment of a baby bird or calf to its mother.
– The lila of Krsna coming as a small boy and asking a merchant for one rupee, who in turn asks Thakuraji for five crore rupees (Banki Bihari).

– Shukadeva to Parikshit: ‘When Krishna disappeared from this world, Kali-yuga began.’
– In Kali-yuga, everyone has faults and everyone fights.
– Story: The thieves chanted the names of Hari (Gopala, Madhava, Damodara, Keshava, Hari and Vasudeva) as secret words to rob a person.
– Srimad-Bhagavatam begins and ends with glorification of the names of God, and has it in the middle.
– After nama-abhasa, shuddha-nama will come, and you will get prema-bhakti.
– Do not commit any offences against the holy name.
– Verse: ‘ceto-darpaṇa-mārjanaṁ bhāva-mahā-dāvāgni-nirvāpaṇam’ (Sri Siksastakam 1).
