17 March 2025 evening – The Manifestation of Nrsimhadeva in Ahobilam (Hindi) | Anobhilam, India | Srila BV Vana Maharaja

  • Mahaprabhu visited Ahobilam in South India to have darsana of Lord Nrsimhadeva.
  • Verse: rāmadāsa mahādeve karila daraśana ahovala-nṛsiṁhere karilā gamana… (CC Madhya-lila 9.16).
  • There is no way to enter into bhakti without the mercy of Nrsimhadeva, for He removes all obstacles.
  • The Lord did not kill the demons willingly, He killed them because it was their karma.
  • Verse: paritrāṇāya sādhūnāṁ vināśāya ca duṣkṛtām… (BG 4.8).
  • The gopis say that Kamsa died according to his karma.
  • Krsna declares that Vayu, the demigod of wind, is very fortunate to touch Radha’s garment, spreading Her fragrance.
  • Krsna sends Uddhava for Kamsa’s pinda (funeral) ceremony, and also to pacify the gopis.
  • Lord Nrsimhadeva appeared from a pillar when Hiranyakasipu doubted Prahlada.
  • There are nine lilas of Nrsimhadeva, seven of whom is manifested in Ahobilam, and two in Jagannatha Puri.
  • All jivas have a svarupa, an inherent potential form, which gradually manifests after hearing Harikatha and cleansing the heart.
  • The process of bhakti goes through anartha-nivrtti and reaches prema.
  • The Lord grants the liberation that the devotee desires.
  • In Satya-yuga Nrsimhadeva went to Navadvipa after killing Hiranyakasipu.
