- The Lord protects the devotees. Sloka:
ete cāṁśa-kalāḥ puṁsaḥ
kṛṣṇas tu bhagavān svayam
indrāri-vyākulaṁ lokaṁ
mṛḍayanti yuge yuge - The Lord liberates the devotees. Sloka:
paritranaya sadhunam
vinasaya ca duskrtam
Dharma-samsthapanarthaya
sambhavami yuge yuge - The Lord takes a human form. Sloka:
anugrahāya bhaktānāṁ
mānuṣaṁ deham āsthitaḥ
bhajate tādṛśīḥ krīḍa
yāḥ śrutvā tat-paro bhavet - Hearing harikatha frees us from all problems.
- The three afflictions of maya: adhibhautika, adhidaivika and adhyatmika.
