क्या आप जानते हैं — गीता किस कृष्ण ने बोली थी?
The Krishna who spoke the Bhagavad Gita is Vasudeva / Dwarkadhish Krishna —
the majestic, royal form of the Lord.
In the Gita, Dwarkadhish Krishna says:
“Ye yathā māṁ prapadyante… As you surrender to Me, I reciprocate.”
Here, Krishna is the teacher, the guide, the commander.
Arjuna is His student. Duty, surrender, and philosophy are the focus.
But Gaudiya Vaishnavism reveals something even deeper:
The same Krishna manifests in three forms —
Mathuradhish, Dwarkadhish, and Vrajendranandan Shyamsundar.
And Vrajendranandan Krishna is completely different.
In Dwarka, Krishna gives instructions.
But in Vrindavan… Krishna receives instructions from the gopis.
In Dwarka, He says: “Surrender to Me.”
In Vrindavan, He bows His head in feet of Gopis and says:
“I am forever indebted to your love.”
Same Krishna —
but the mood is completely different.
That is why our Guru-varga says:
“Where the Gita ends, the Bhagavatam begins.”
The Gita shows the path towards Krishna.
The Bhagavatam reveals the Krishna who belongs to His devotees —
the Krishna of Vrindavan, conquered only by prema.
On this sacred Gita Jayanti, may we honour both —
the wisdom of the Gita and the love of the Bhagavatam.
Happy Gita Jayanti!
