20 July 2025 morning – What Grants Bhakti and Jnana (English) | Seattle, USA

* On the seven oceans and islands.
* If we associate with good people, good qualities will come; otherwise, not. Associate with a sadhu, for through their influence, their qualities will come to us.
* We should reject bad associations, especially with Mayavadis and those who have no faith in the Vedas.
* We must bathe before cooking and worshiping Thakuraji.
* Those who eat food prepared by those who have not bathed will have a disturbed mind.
* Pure water is compared to suddha-bhakti (pure bhakti).
* We develop attachment to the Lord when we serve Him.
* One whose vision is obscured by Maya cannot see the Lord.
* Jnana only gives us an indication of how darkness will be removed from the heart; it is like the light that illuminates the path, but that is not enough. We need to practice bhakti!
* By practicing bhakti, knowledge and self-realization are established, and thus, all anarthas are removed from our hearts.
* Jnana is like a ghee lamp, and bhakti is like a shining jewel. The ghee is extinguished by the wind, but the jewel, not even a storm or water can extinguish its effulgence.
* When bhakti manifests in the heart, it can never be extinguished!
