– The Gundicha-marjana temple was built by Indradyumna Maharaja in memory of his wife, Gundicha Devi.
– Indradyumna Maharaja was concerned that the yagna-adhishthatra-devata did not appear in his fire sacrifice.
– Ramachandra’s fire sacrifice was not possible without His wife, Sita-devi, so His guru, Vasishtha, allowed Him to use a golden statue of Her instead.
– Dasharatha Maharaja had 360 queens, three of whom were the most prominent: Kaushalya, Kaikeyi and Sumitra.
– Rama’s wedding gift to Sita was His vow to never marry another woman.
– The Lord will accept your offering if you have atma-samarpana.
– Shastra says that Kali Maharaja is inside golden objects.
– Gundicha devi was not fully surrendered to yagna-adhishtatha-devata, as she was still wearing a nose ring, meaning she believed she was the wife of Indradyumna Maharaja.
– Mahaprabhu Himself cleaned the Gundicha Mandira and supervised the devotees as they cleaned it too.
