0:00:03 – Sanket means to give signals; Krishna always gives signals to the Gopis; the place of nishanta-lila (the end of the night); nisha – night; anta – end; Radha and Krishna go to rest; to fall into a deep sleep; Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakur sings this song about how to wake the Divine Couple; Vrinda-devi first gives a signal to the birds; each sakhi has her own service; Bhaktivinoda Thakur is Kamala Manjari; it is Vrinda-devi’s duty to wake Them; she gives a signal to the rooster, then a sakhi curses the rooster; then she gives a signal to the monkey.
