03/11/23 – Dauji Mandir (English translation) – Vrindavana, India | Srila BV Vana Maharaja

  • Cit-bala means spiritual strength. Baladeva Prabhu is Akanda-guru-tattva.
  • Without spiritual strength, without the mercy of the Guru, it is not possible to progress in spiritual life.
  • Baladeva Prabhu was the seventh son of Devaki. After being in the womb of Devaki for six months, He was transferred, by Yoga Maya, to the womb of Rohini Devi.
  • The six babies of Devaki who were born before Balarama and Krsna, represent six anarthas, such as anger, lust, envy, etc.
  • Srila Rupa Gosvami’s Upadesamrta: vāco vegaṁ manasaḥ krodha-vegaṁ — it is only possible to control the six impulses of the mind through the mercy of Baladeva Prabhu and Srila Gurudeva.
  • When Rohini Devi gave birth to Baladeva Prabhu, Yasoda Mayi gave birth to Krsna eight days later.
  • Baladeva Prabhu is no different from Krsna.
  • Baladeva Prabhu teaches how to serve Krsna, and with what mood. He serves Krsna in ten ways: shoes, seat, umbrella, etc.
  • For this reason Gurudeva is teaching us, Akanda Guru Tattva.
  • The Guru’s mercy destroys the anarthas of the heart, if they are not destroyed we do not enter the spiritual world.
  • Only in the prema stage will we reach God, Baladeva Prabhu shows us the path.
  • Only through service to the Guru is it possible to enter Bhakti. The only way to serve is to surrender to Sri Guru, which is why Guru-seva is so important.
  • It is necessary to understand the heart of Guru, to be able to serve appropriately.
  • Story of the foolish devotee, who is unable to carry the Guru’s belongings on the horse.
