PART 1
- We must follow the rules of Caturmasya to develop our spiritual life.
- Caturmasya means “how to emphasize the chanting of the Holy Names.”
- Without chanting the Holy Names, there is no benefit, even if we follow the rules and regulations.
- Those who do not follow the rules and regulations and think: “I am focused on God,” render their sadhana and bhajana useless.
- If we are unable to perform nirjala-ekadasi, we are allowed to honor prasada, but only enough to keep the body well.
- Just as the sun never ceases to exist, Vaisnavas are always with us.
- Without glorifying Guru and Vaisnavas, our tongue will never be purified.
- Those who speak worldly katha have a shortened lifespan; Maya Devi catches them.
- Even if we don’t have a taste for Harikatha, we should listen, because that way it’s 100% guaranteed that Maya Devi won’t catch us.
- The diksa guru’s duty is to offer the disciple at the feet of Rupa Manjari.
