- 0:00:02 – When a sadhaka ascends to the level of asakti (spontaneous attachment), free from bhava-doshas (defects in spiritual emotion), as Raghunatha Dasa Gosvami said, he realizes his svarupa (spiritual form) and can perform manasi-seva (mental service). Mahaprabhu gave the instruction: when one is completely free from material attachments and rises to the level of asakti…
- 0:02:39 – A story: Once, Raghunatha Dasa Gosvami fell ill. A Kaviraj (Ayurvedic doctor) said his high fever was because he had eaten too much sweet rice. The Vrajavasis said, “No, no, he hasn’t eaten anything.” When asked, he revealed that Srimati Radhika Herself had fed him the sweet rice. (This illustrates how) Rati Manjari realized his svarupa and became qualified to perform manasi-seva.
- 0:07:00 – If you have performed sadhana and bhajan over many lifetimes and have the corresponding samskaras (impressions) in your heart, then you can meditate on your Ishtadeva; this is called manasik-seva.
- 0:07:16 – Srila Rupa Gosvamipada, in Bhakti-rasamrita-sindhu, gives an example: A miserly sadhu began performing manasik-seva and wouldn’t spend a single coin to serve Thakuraji. When the sadhu tasted the sweet rice with his finger to check if it was hot, the Deity manifested and said, “My name is Makhanchor (the butter thief),” and gave him darshan.

- 0:27:00 – For example, a person may give a coin but still harbor many material desires. Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu instructed Sri Raghunatha Dasa Gosvami: if you eat something from materialists, it is filled with their material desires. - 0:38:15 – Srila Rupa Gosvamipada, in Bhakti-rasamrita-sindhu, describes how to worship Radha and Krishna and how our Gosvamis performed their sadhana and bhajan.
- 0:40:51 – (Regarding) Rati Manjari and how Radhika fed him rice ā this is real bhakti. If you imitate it, problems will come.
