PART 1
PART 2
- 0:00:40 – This is a very exalted place. Lord Baladeva Prabhu Himself is present here in the form of Sheshanaga. Strength is Baladeva Prabhu; all strength comes from Him; a person must have the strength to perform sadhana and bhajan—the governing strength is Baladeva Prabhu.
- 0:04:04 – Srila Jiva Gosvami Prabhu explains: There is one Parama-tattva (Supreme Truth); conditioned souls do not know how to serve the Lord; Baladeva and Krishna are not different from each other; Krishna came in the form of Baladeva Prabhu to teach us how to serve Krishna; the 10 types of service (asana, the brahminical thread, garments, golden ornaments on Krishna—all this is Baladeva Prabhu).
- 0:06:27 – A story from the Mahabharata about how Krishna lifted the chariot wheel.
- 0:12:13 – Service to Krishna in 10 forms; Mula, Sankarshana, Shesha, etc., manifest, and Baladeva Prabhu supports all the countless planets.
- 0:13:15 – Baladeva Prabhu comes only by the mercy of Krishna; we can serve Krishna only by the mercy of Baladeva Prabhu; in all rasas, He teaches how to serve Krishna.
- 0:14:55 – In the month of Madhu (Madhu Masa), how Baladeva Prabhu performs the rasa dance with the gopis, as described in the Srimad Bhagavatam; Lord Brahma said that Baladeva is Krishna Himself; during the rainy season, a snake (Shesha) appears; from the standpoint of tattva-vichara (philosophical analysis), Baladeva Prabhu is our Guru; from the standpoint of rasa-vichara (analysis of spiritual mellows), Radha is our Guru.
- 0:19:40 – Wonderful pastimes: how the gopis stole Krishna’s flute, and Krishna stole Radhika’s ring; the gopis skillfully glorified Madhumangala to take the flute from him; how the gopis quickly passed the flute to each other.
- 0:29:00 – A story from a parikrama: how an iPad was stolen, and then GPS tracking showed it was already in Mathura; similarly, the gopis passed everything to each other very quickly.
- 0:30:00 – Krishna asked: “Madhumangala, do you have the flute? Your mantras and tantras do not work near the intelligent and skillful gopis.” Disguised Krishna began to cry and roll on the ground to get darshan of Krishna; Lalita Devi and the gopis snatched the flute and took the ring from Krishna; thus, the meeting of Radhika and Krishna took place.
- 0:34:40 – Kirtan.
- 0:35:15 – All these wonderful pastimes of Krishna are in the Puranas; the Radha Damodara Temple is a place where rasa-lilas are performed; they depict the meetings and separations (theatre).
- 0:39:37 – Srila Gurudev tells a personal story: “When I was little, no one knew that I used to go there and watch the plays, from about 11 PM until 2 AM. They would show all the lilas—Kunja lila; kirtan. In Bengal, they perform the lilas of Vidyapati, Chandidas; in North India, everything gets mixed.”
