- The Bhagavad katha was uttered on three occasions: between Narada Muni and Vyasadeva (Narada-Vyasa-Samvada); between Sukadeva Gosvami and Pariksit Maharaja (Suka-Pariksit-Samvada); between Suta Gosvami and Saunaka Rsi (Suta-Saunaka-Samvada).
- One should not hear about Bhagavatam from a non-devotee.
- Sloka: jīvera ‘svarūpa’ haya — kṛṣṇera ‘nitya-dāsa’ (CC Madhya-lila 20.108–109).
