– We are very close to Vasanta-panchami.
– Without the guidance (anugatya) of the gopis, it is impossible to attain Vraja-Krishna. Lakshmi-devi made that mistake when she did not take guidance from the Vraja gopis, and thus could not enter the rasa dance.
– The gopis control Krishna through their rati, or love.
– The gopis have atma-samarpana (total surrender) towards Krishna; that is why they participate in the rasa lila.
– The gopis abandon their household duties and run towards Krishna. In fact, the gopis do not have children; these are the children of their relatives.
– Types of gopis participating in rasa-lila.
– All the gopis are called Chandramukhis.
– Jayadeva Gosvami manifested vasanta-rasa-lila, which takes place next to Giriraja Govardhana, in Gita-govinda.

– Avoid rasa-abhasa-dasha. Otherwise, you will lose all your bhakti.
– It is considered very auspicious to receive harinama or diksha on Vasanta-panchami.
