– Lila: Radha and Krishna meet in Radha’s room in Yavata. Krishna disguises Himself as Devi Kali in order to persuade Jatila and Kutila of Radha’s chastity.
– Lila: Shiva cursed his consort Parvati after she disguised herself as his ishtadevi Sita Devi and lied to him.
– Ahangra-upasana, or identifying yourself with Radha, Krishna, Mother Yashoda, and so on, is an offence.
– Devi Kali manifests her ugra-murti and kills all the demons after one of them chants the ‘Shiva Aham’ (I am Shiva) mantra. While killing the demons, she accidentally steps on Shiva’s chest and sticks out her tongue in shame. This is why Devi Kali is always depicted with her tongue out.
– There is no need to read Puranas; you will only become confused. Just read Srimad-Bhagavatam.
– Parikshit (Vishnurahta, meaning ‘protected by Vishnu’) was protected by Krishna in the womb of his mother, Uttara.
