* Bhakti must be incessant, uninterrupted.
* If the sadhaka’s heart is covered by jnana, karma, yoga and tapasya, he will not be able to enter suddha-bhakti.
* We must control the 6 impulses, starting with speech.
* Before eating, we must offer to Thakuraji, otherwise we will not be able to control the impulses. Eating without offering is tama-guna.
* Always ask yourself if you are eating for sense gratification, because if you are, you will suffer.
* There are two types of impulses of the tongue: eating and speaking. Speak Harikatha, in this case there is no need to control.
* If you do not control the impulses of the tongue, a war will arise. The Mahabharata arose due to the lack of control of speech.
* We should check the ingredients before eating, and so should the person who cooked the food, because if the person who cooked the food has a tama-guna mentality, tama-guna enters the food and comes to you.
* If the mind is disturbed, one should drink a drop of Ganges water.
* We control the urge of the tongue by speaking properly and then controlling the act of eating.
* One who does not control the urge of the genitals is not capable of suddha-bhakti.
* Srimati Radhika, in Her heroine mood – svādhīna-bhartṛkā-nāyikā – controls Krsna.
* We should worship dhīra-lalita-nāyaka Sri Krsna, because He in the heroic mood is our Istadeva/Worshipful Deity.
