-In India spiritual names are usually given when diksha-mantra is given
-Spiritual birth happens when someone receives diksha
-Harinama is also a part of diksha. Harinama is nama-diksha and diksha is mantra-diksha
-Spiritual life is not counted when you receive only harinama. You have to receive mantra-diksha as well
-Christian names are not included into vaishnava-samskara
-Those who do not follow proper etiquette continue calling devotees with their mundane names. They commit offence
-Gurudeva speaks on his spiritual name (Subal Sakha – birthname, Sudanya – name given by Srila Vamana Maharaja, Surya kanta – family nickname) and the spiritual name of his mother, Shantadala (Kamala, lotus).
