So just I want to speak few words. All you spoke very nicely; how to develop our sadhana and bhajana. What do we do? Sadhana and bhajana. Generally people are saying bhajana and sadhana. But Gurudeva, he says sadhana and bhajana — first sadhana, then you will do bhajana.

Sadhana means when you practice the devotional service to Lord, with your limbs and body, and how to attain the [one’ss] one sprinkle of mood of eternal associate of Lord — Bhagavad-bhakta’s bhava. That is called as sadhana.

So saying these [words for] sadhana-bhakti: krti-sadhya bhavet sadhya-bhava sa sadhanabhidha / nitya-siddhasya bhavasya prakatyan hrdi sadhyata. This is called sadhana-bhakti.

Because conditioned soul, they cannot do bhajana, because they are all — their limbs and body — that is called material, jada-sarira, jada-mana. Our body is your material body, all our senses also material. So how possible to serve Lord with our material body? Because Lord’s body is called transcendental, aprakrta, supernatural. And Our limbs and body — eyes, nose, hands, legs — everything is what? Material. So conclusion is that material things cannot touch the transcendental things. This is the thing. But one thing is miracle is going on this way.

When you practice the devotional service to Lord, and completely surrender to the lotus feet of Guru and Krsna, then your, all your limbs and body will become tadatma-prapta — oneness with the senses of Lord. That is called tadatma-prapti. What is it called? Tadatma. Tadatma means oneness with Lord’s senses will be.

Just give an example, then you understand what is the meaning of tadatma. Iron rod — iron rod cannot burn anything. But same iron rod, then if you put in the fire, then after a couple of minutes, then rod will become very hot and red color will come. And that time that iron rod, hot iron rod, if you put it somewhere, and it will be burned. Because when you put the iron rod in the fire, that time the fire — all its dahika-sakti and heat of the fire — enter in the iron rod. And [with] that iron rod, you can burn everything.

In the same way, one who performs sadhana, devotional service to Lord, then by the causeless mercy of Lord, then all his limbs and body will become tadatmya-prapta. With this tadatmya-prapti, senses, then you can serve to Lord. This is a process. Because with our eyes we cannot see to Lord. Because our eyes are material. And Lord’s body is your transcendental, sac-cid-ananda-mayi.

isvarah paramah krsnah / sac-cid-ananda-vigrahah / anadir adir govindah / sarva-karana-karanam

Lord’s body is called sac-cid-ananda-vigraha. Sat, cit, ananda mayi — sat means existence, cit means transcendental knowledge, ananda means full of bliss, ananda. Ananda-maya vigraha Bhagavan — Sac-cid-ananda-maya — Bhagavavan.

So, sadhana-bhakti — this is called the sadhana-bhakti definition, has given in sastra.

krti-sadhya bhavet sadhya-bhava sa sadhanabhidha / nitya-siddhasya bhavasya prakatyan hrdi sadhyata

This is the process also. Do bhajana and sadhana and give up all kinds of offenses. Then chant holy names. Then first you will come sambandha-jnana. That is called knowledge of relationship. If you start to serve the Lord, first you need what. Sambandha-jnana — knowledge of relationship. Sambandha-jnana. So: sambandha laina bhaje tare krsna nahi tyaje / ara saba mare akarana. If your sambandha jnana will come then you will never fall down. This is the process. If you know sambandha-jnana, you are doing everything — otherwise this is not perfect. Sambandha-jnana.

So this sambandha-jnana — knowledge of relationship — is coming from Gurupada-padma. So Gurudeva, he is called sambandha-pradata. What is it called? What is the meaning of sambandha-pradata? Sambandha-pradata. Pradata means who gives the sambandha-jnana in the heart of the devotees. How is he giving? Through hari-katha and mantra — nama and mantra. What is it called? Nama and mantra. Gopala-mantra. Krsna-mantra. If you chant Gopala-mantra, Krsna-mantra, then sambandha-jnana will come. How will you serve to Lord? Sambandha-jnana. Lord — who is He? What is the relationship with Him? How will you serve to Him? Everything depends on sambandha. Without sambandha-jnana you cannot start to serve the Lord. So sambandha-pradata — Gurupada-padma is called sambandha-pradata.

In the same way, in our Gaudiya philosophy, explain three Deities. How many Deities? Three Deities. So Madana-mohana, then Govindadeva and Gopinatha. So Gaudiya [line]: ei tina thakura gaudiya kariyachena atmasat. Gaudiya’s Vaishnavas‘ three that is mainly — Govinda, Gopinatha and Madana-mohana.

So Madana-mohana is called sambandha-adhisthatri. So the sambandha-adhisthatri Devata — Madana-mohana. And Govindadeva is called abhidheya-adhisthatri Devata, the presiding Deity of abhidheya process, bhakti. Then bhakti is called abhidheya-tattva. Abhidheya-tattva — process [by which] how to attain the perfect goal. And Gopinatha is called prayojana-tattva adhisthatri — the presiding Deity of our supreme goal, love. Prema — prayojana.

So Gaudiya Vaisnava three Deities, Vigraha. What are the three Deities? Madana-mohana, Govindadeva and Gopinatha. Look at this: ei tina thakura gaudiya kariyachena atmasat / govinda gopinatha madana-mohana. Ei tina thakura gaudiya kariyachena atmasat. See? These three Deities are very important.

Gurudeva, he is called sambandha-pradata. Pradata means gives. Sambandha-jnana [he] gives. Then you can do, practice sadhana and bhajana. So this is the duty of Guru — how to make the relationship with your istadeva. Istadeva — worshipable Deity. How to do sadhana, this way.

First need sadhana. When sadhana will be mature —paripakka, mature — then come in the stage of abhidheya-tattva, bhakti.  And when the bhakti will mature, then will come in the stage of prema-tattva, simple way. So for this regard — sadhana-bhakti, bhava-bhakti and prema-bhakti.

Sraddha to asakti — that is sadhana-bhakti. Always remember: sraddha, sadhu-sanga, bhajana-kriya, anartha-nivrtti, nistha, ruci, then asakti. So how many stages? You counted or not? You did not count. Only listen. Seven stages. Count: sraddha, sadhu-sanga, bhajana-kriya, anartha-nivrtti, nistha, ruci, asakti — How many stages? Seven. So sraddha to asakti — all these are called sadhana-bhakti. Krti-sadhya bhavet sadhya-bhava sa sadhanabhidha / nitya-siddhasya bhavasya prakatyan hrdi sadhyata. It is simple. Not so complicated. Easy to understand.

Now we are doing sadhana. We are doing sadhana with our hands. And we are cleaning the temple. What it is called? Sweeping the temple. Even with our hands we are eating or not — and taking prasada. Understand? This is also sadhana. With our hands we are chanting holy names and [on] japa-mala. Hare Krsna Hare Krsna Krsna Krsna Hare Hare / Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare. Chant holy names with japa-mala. This is important.

Some devotees also chanting holy names with some types of clicker. This is — Gurudeva, he did not allow. This is called one type of machine. Machine. So, bhakti is not a machine. Bhakti is a direct connected with Lord. So, how will you chant the names? With neem-mala or with tulasi-mala. This is also mentioned in the Hari-bhakti-vilasa. This is the process — chant holy names: Hare Krsna Hare Krsna Krsna Krsna Hare Hare / Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare.

Because when we chant [on] this japa-mala, that is the sakti is there. Sakti means power, strength is there. When Guru gives that, the japa-mala, then he invested his potency in the japa-mala. And machine — not. You understand? So many devotees also — this is also coming from a Western country. This is not our, sastra not even mentioned this. We chant holy names with japa-mala and that japa-mala should be received from Guru. And they will be — that sakti, potency is going in there. Try to understand. Then you will chant properly.

Hare Krsna Hare Krsna Krsna Krsna Hare Hare / Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare.

Or some also chanting with their own fingers, kara-japa. That is not also allowed. Kara-japa is that when you chant your Gayatri-mantra with your fingers. And that is also, special process also is there. That is called sama-mudra. Mudra means That is the position of your hands. And this — japa-mudra. That is the process also. [But] when you chant holy names, with the japa-mala — japa-mala is very important. Always we intense this way {showing how to finger the beads}: Hare Krsna Hare Krsna Krsna Krsna Hare Hare / Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare.

If you chant on japa-mala, then also you keep some numbers. As like our Six Gosvamis, they chanted their holy names with their japa-mala.

saṅkhyā-pūrvaka-nāma-gāna-natibhiḥ kālāvasānī-kṛtau

nidrāhāra-vihārakādi-vijitau cātyanta-dīnau ca yau

rādhā-kṛṣṇa-guṇa-smṛter madhurimānandena sammohitau

vande rūpa-sanātanau raghu-yugau śrī-jīva-gopālakau

Sankya purvaka japa. You have to chant this way with japa-mala. And japa mala how many, what is called, beads? They are all one hundred and eight. But why this number? One hundred and eight. And some also impersonalists chanting — and twenty-seven, that japa-[mala is] there. But this is not our Gaudiya sampradaya. This is not allowed. Understand? Our Gaudiya sampradaya — Mahaprabhu [line] — chanting is one hundred and eight beads. Why is this number of 108 beads is there?

Because main sakhis of Srimati Radhika, that is called 108. In the middle there is called Radha and Krsna. What is it called? Radha-Krsna. Beads. This is the japa-mala. Then again coming eight — that is eight sakhis, asta-sakhis are there also: Lalita, Visakha, [Citra], Campakalata, Rangadevi, [Sudevi], Tungavidya, This one is called [pointing to the main bead] The Divine Couple of Radha and Krsna. Then coming — this is eight — one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine. Actually here we put one small thread. This is asta-sakhi. Understand? Then coming hundred. Hundred gopis are there also. And in this among the hundred gopis also you would be also there. And when you do bhajana and sadhana — sadhana and bhajana — then one who [does] realize also will be. Then you realize also this thing. You understand?

Now you are thinking this is [only beads] — no. This mala— as like, very nice, beautiful — this is called circle, rasa-dance is going on. Understand? This is going on circle, rasa-dance. And this middle, Divine Couple of Radha and Krsna, and then asta-sakhi.

Bhaktivinoda Thakura sang this song also: asta-dala-upari sri-radha sri-hari / asta-sakhi parijana… [Yamuna-puline ….

jamunā-puline, kadamba-kānane, ki herinu sakhī! āja
śyāma vaḿśīdhārī, maṇi-mañcopari, kare’ līlā rasarāja

(2)
kṛṣṇa-keli sudhā-prasravana
aṣṭa-dalopari, śrī rādhā śrī hari, aṣṭa-sakhī parijana

(3)
sugīta-nartane, saba sakhī-gaṇe, tuṣiche yugala-dhane
(kṛṣṇa-līlā heri’, prakṛti-sundarī, vistāriche śobhā vane

So this is Divine Couple [pointing to a main bead] the symbol of Radha and Krsna. And very nice beautiful one [is] blossomed lotus. So asta-dala-upari sri-radha sri-hari — middle lotus. Very nice beautiful, attractive. And Radha and Krsna are there. And then eight sakhis are there mainly: Lalita, Visakha, Sudevi, Citra, Campakalata, Rangadevi, Sudevi, Tungavidya,— asta-sakhi. Then other sakhis also is there, manjaris and others. All these sakhis. You realize that time. So sing: asta-dala-upari sri-radha sri-hari / asta-sakhi parijana / sugita-nartane saba sakhi-gane / tusiche yugala-dhane… Very nice beautiful this song.

jamunā-puline, kadamba-kānane, ki herinu sakhī! āja

So, just I have to explain this. And this is also, this form is more, as like sarpa-akrti. What is it called? Sarpa-akrti. Or go-puccha-vat [like a cow’s tail]. What is it called? Sarpa-akrti. Sarpa-akrti means as the shape of a snake. That’s it. The front side will be thick, wider and narrow is going. So in the same way, from here to here, here to here going this. Or go-puccha-vat. What is called? Go-puccha-vat — as like the tail of the cow. Understand this. Go-puccha-vat.

So now — japa-mala is very important. Mala, mala-lati prema-lati yasa iti mala. Who gives the prema into you? First he gives sambandha, then prema will come. If you have no sambandha-jnana, then how possible you [get] love and affection? Undestand this way. So first need is what? Sambandha-jnana.

So, for this regard is saying: sambandha laina bhaje tare krsna nahi tyaje / ara saba mare akarana. And if you have knowledge of — knowledge of relationship with Guru and Krsna — then you will never fall down. So first need is sambandha. So for this regard Gurudeva, he is called sambandha-pradata. What is he called? He gives the knowledge of relationship. How he is giving knowledge of relationship? Through mantra. Sandhya-[kala] mantra. And Gopala-mantra. Guru-mantra, Gayatri-mantra — all these mantras he donates. Same [eighteen-syllable] nama — Krsna, Govinda and Gopijana-vallabha. Just some [vivrti / explanation] these are.

So saying this way. So coming in this way. When [one] is chanting — but holy names will give prema, this is true. But in the beginning, Hari-nama will not give prema to you. Because you have no sambandha-jnana. Or if you have no sambandha-jnana, that means you are not prepared to [do] service. You understand? So need is what is here — sambandha-jnana, knowledge of relationship. You serve to Radha and Krsna. Who are They? And what is the relationship with Them? According to sambandha, you can serve. This is the process.

All these I mentioned this way. Right? Vrajavasis — the residents of Vraja — they always make friendship with Krsna as like they are family members. That is called loka-vat sambandha-priti. What is it called? Loka-vat sambandha-priti. You remember these.

Some, they are thinking, Krsna is our friend — sakhya-bhava, sakha-sambandha. Just like Subala-sakha, Madhumangala, Sridama, [Arjuna], Lavanga, etc. — sakhya-bhava. And Nanda, Yasoda — they serve to Krsna with their vatsalya-bhava. Parental mood — they serve to Krsna. That is called pitritva-abhimana and matritva-abhimana. They have some transcendental egos with Krsna. Nanda [and] Yasoda are thinking, “I am the father of my son Krsna.” Mother Yasoda she is thinking, “I am the mother of my son Krsna.” Matritva-abhimana.

In this material [world] also, [there is] abhimana. Abhimana means ego. But that ego, he is not perfect. Had we are not saying, this is completely false — we are not saying. Gaudiya philosophy is saying this way — [it] is not false. That is tat-kalika sambandha. What is called? Tat-kalika. Understand. In that moment — that moment — and also temporary. You are thinking, “He is my son.” Okay. This is true or wrong? This is true, but this is temporary truth. That is correct. In this moment, you cannot say that this is not my son, or son cannot say that she is not my mother. You cannot say this. But this sambandha that is called tat-kalika — in this moment. And I am in this body, bodily conception. This is the process. What is the permanent relationship with Krsna?

Krsna mora mata, krsna mora pita, krsna mora dhana-prana / krsna mora prabhurata jivera kaya-vyana. Krsna is my eternal mother-father. Krsna is my mother. Krsna is my father. This is true. So when transcendental knowledge is coming — sambandha-jnana — that time you think she is my mother, he is my father. Relationship is coming. You cannot deny this. But this [material] sambandha that is called temporary also. When your body changes, then all your relationship also changes. Because our body is your conditioned-soul body — that is called also material body. Jada-sarira. Jadatva-abhimana. What is called? Jada-abhimana. Material ego is coming. Jada-abhimana. Jada-sarira and jada-abhimana. Remember these two words. Jada-sarira and jada-abhimana. Our material body and material also egos come. Both also are there. Temporary.

[In] transcendental world — Goloka Vrindavan — their bodies [are] transcendental body. That is called cit-sarira. What is called? Cit-sarira. This is a transcendental world. So, for this regard, they are transcendental. Ego is coming also there. Ego is everywhere. Ego is in this material world and also ego is in spiritual world. The spiritual-world ego that is transcendental. What that is called? Cit-abhimana. What is it called? Cit-abhimana. Just remember this word. Cit-abhimana. Or in this material world, that is called jada-abhimana, temporary. This is the thing — only this thing.

Abhimana is very important also. Without abhimana and ego, you cannot do anything. If you have no ego, then you will become inert. And understand, this is philosophy also. Or the philosophy. If you have no abhimana then you will become inert, jada. So what is the symptoms of cetana? How do you know there is a conscious being? Cetana-dharma. Three things, remember. There are three things of conscious being, cetana. What is it called? Feeling, willing and knowing power is there. Right? Feeling means you are feeling…hungry, angry…your desires are coming….feeling….

Knowledge is coming. Just give an example. You have seen that the plant of sunflowers — sunflowers plant have you seen. When the flowers blossom, then automatically the sunflowers and their face going towards sun. Morning you can see their face of the sunflower towards east. Or when sun goes to the west, evening time also flowers will turn this way also, turn towards the west. And again morning what is coming this way. This miracle is going on. Other examples cannot be seen, but this is a very perfect example. So, for this regard, the name is called sunflowers. And surya-mukhi. What is it called? Surya-mukhi. They have one face, only towards sun. Understand? Surya-mukhi, candra-mukhi. Then another — jvala-mukhi. Many mukhis also comes. Mukhi means face. Face is like sun. So what is called? Surya-mukhi. Then, candra-mukhi. One face is very cool, quiet and… What is called? Attractive, cool and happiness. That is called? What is your name? Candra-mukhi. Understand. And third is called jvala-mukhi. Jvala-mukhi means as like volcano. Understand? Volcano — understand. Any time, what is it called? Explode the lava. And he also is your… Coming or not? You look maybe 10, 15 years, maybe 30 years, 50 years — that volcano completely silent. Then suddenly… Yes. What this [face], that is called? Jvala-mukhi. Volcano — or is it called? And burn everything.

Somebody who will give you an example. First her face is like, what is it called? Candra-mukhi. Very nice, beautiful beauty. Then after a few years, then surya-mukhi. Not too much explained — to understand this. Then after a few years, then jvala-mukhi. This is the… Both also — you are male or female. Both also. Both also candra-mukhi, both also called surya-mukhi, both also called jvala-mukhi. Not only the ladies or the gentlemen — this is the nature. What to do? I am not going to be speaking any side, but the sastra saying this. This is the nature.

So, just I have to explain actually, I told you, with the conscious being — cetana — or the nature of the conscious being, dharma. There are three things: feeling, willing and knowing power. That is called cetana. Cetanatma dharma is there also. Now, atma within this body — so for this your body is acting, all the activities also. Eating, sleeping, walking, speaking, everything. When atma goes out, then body [cannot] do anything. So now this is called the cetana-dharma is there. So sometimes you are hungry, sometimes you are thirsty, sometimes you are… So need three things. Conscious beings mean three things: feeling, willing and knowing power. Remember this.

Are those who are inert, jada — like stone, bricks, glasses — they are not feeling, feeling any. We are feeling cool, we are feeling hot, understand. So, you like [cool] things, you see, fan, understand. And [one devotee], he comes in my house, he becomes very disturbed and upset. Understand? Because here, in my room, there is no AC. Sometimes also, not also use the fan. Understand? He likes AC and fan. So, he could not sleep in my room. He kept going out, automatically. I did not ask him to leave. He automatically is going on. Huh? Why are you dropping down? [Heat] is [there]. Automatically going. And you know. Huh? Just I telling to you — that’s true or not?

Cetana-dharma. But atma — soul; Paramatma — Supersoul — that is called eternal and transcendental. So, jivera svarupa haya krsnera nitya-dasa. This is spontaneuous nature of the soul — the servant of Krsna. Krsna-sevaka. Here we have to serve. So how to serve the Lord with our knowledge of relationship — sambandha. Sambandha. So just I have to explain this way. Vrajavasis, the residents of Vraja, Vrajavasis — they have relationship with Krsna. And that relationship is eternal and transcendental. And that will never change. Because their mood is always fixed. That is called sthayi-bhava. What is it called? Sthayi — fixed. Bhava means mood. Subala and Sridama — they are always thinking we are the friends of Krsna. Krsna — that they will not change this. Sakhya-bhava. Nanda, Yasoda — their fixed mood. What is the fixed mood? Nanda Maharaja always thinking, “I am the father of my son Krsna.” Pitritva-abhimana. Understand this. Mother Yasoda, she is always thinking, “I am the mother of my son Krsna.” Matritva-abhimana is there. And that abhimana is eternal, eternal. And that will be never changed. This is important.

In this material [world] also, just they compare with material and transcendental. Gurudeva gave a very nice example. Once one lady, she gave birth to a baby. But in the hospital nurse, she changed this baby. They changed the baby. And she told, “No, no, you did not give birth to any baby.” But she told, “No, I gave birth to a baby.” And that baby gave to someone. And someone — that lady — she saying, “This is my baby.” So both of them also came in front of the judge. Judge listened both side, but what is the evidence? Because the nurse is saying, “No, she did not give birth to a baby.” They are — this is the evidence. And this lady she is saying, “No, I gave birth to a baby. I know, I am feeling.” But judge gives the decision according to the evidence and according to the law. Judge is thinking what to do? Who is the real mother of the baby? She is crying, saying, “No this is my baby.”

Then judge makes one very nice beautiful trick. Judge told, “Okay, why you are calling both ladies. It is better, you can take this baby half portion, you take half and she can take half. This is good. You can take this baby half portion and she can take the baby half portion.” Then who is not a real mother? See — if I say yes, I can take half — that means she is [false]. This baby should [not] be [cut]. But who is the real mother? She is crying. “No, no, no. I cannot see this baby cut. But he says, I know it is my baby but you give to her. No problem. I cant tolerate seeing my baby cut in half.” Then she was crying and crying and rolling on the ground. [She] said, “Okay, you give to her. But my baby should be alive.” Then she was crying. Then judge gave the decision. Who is the real mother? You understand or not? Real mother never will say, “My son will be [cut].” Who is not real mother? [Like] Putana. Understand Putana. So this [is] the form of matritva-abhimana. She tries to breast feed Krsna. [Putana contrast briefly.]

Or is this the… is this word what is called? Abhimana. Sanskrit word abhimana means ego. In this material world all this abhimana that is called temporary … and changeable. Understand. When your body, in this body your abhimana is coming. When body finish, change, then everything is also changed. That is called not fixed. But in transcendental world, Goloka Vrindavan, their body is called transcendental. Sac-cid-ananda-maya-vigraha. Sac-cid-ananda-maya — they are the… Everything is there — abhimana is also perfect. So, Nanda, Yasoda — these types of their abhimana. What is the abhimana? “I am the mother, I am the father of my son, Krsna.” That is Sanskrit word. That is called putratva-abhimana or matritva-abhimana, but pitritv-abhimana is there also. So this is called sthayi-bhava. This is called sthayi-bhava. That’s why I explain to you. Sthayi means the fixed mood is there also. That sthayi-bhava is there. That would never change. In this material [world] change or not? This is the way. But what we change is when? When the body changes, everything will change. But in the transcendental world, there are no questions to change.

Nanda and Yasoda, they are the eternal parents of Krsna. That is called Krsna nitya mata pita. Understand? Try to understand. And in this material world our parents, in this life we are saying: she is my mother, he is my father….only this life time. And body, in this body. When body changes, then also you use this word also — “ex.” What you change? Ex. Understand? Ex-[something]. Ex always you change the ex. What you saying? Ex-wife. Ex-husband, ex-wife — you are saying, he is right. But you cannot use this word “ex-son.” “Before he was my son and now he is not my son” — you cannot use this word. You never heard this word. You understand? Ex this word is coming. Ex-husband. Or ex-wife, ex-friend, ex-girlfriend, ex-boyfriend — ex before, and now he is not. But you will never hear — “and he is my ex-son.” You cannot use this word. So, if you have even in this body, you can use ex [for many things], this body. But son, putra — that is your own [feeling stays]. Just in this body — but in the transcendental world, there is no of “ex.” Understand — Krsna is my son. Or Krsna also he says Nanda[-Yasoda] is my father-parents. So say then Nanda-nandana Krsna. What is called? Nanda-nandana Krsna — is the son of Nanda.

Why? Eternal father. This is the… So maybe you say, Vasudeva-nandana, Devaki-nandana, coming this way. But when this is very confidential thing they say: de namni nanda-bharya devaki yasoda ca — in our Purana explained this way. De namni nanda-bharya — the wife of Nanda Maharaja, Yasoda — has two names. One is called Yasoda and Devaki. Just again: devaki yasoda ca. This is mentioned in the sastra. [Hari-vamsa /] Purana. And [it] depends on Purana. Devaki yasoda ca.

So, for Sukadeva Gosvami Pada — mentioned the Yasoda-nandana — that is very clear, understand? Krsna, he is the son of mother Yasoda. Or where Devaki — Sukadeva Gosvami Pada [says] atah Devaki-nandana. Devaki-nandana means, he is the son of Yasoda-nandana. Understand. So, where they use these words? Devaki-nandana. Devaki-nandana means Yasoda-nandana. Gaudiya siddhanta this way. Even gopis also, many places — rasa-[katha], many places also — they utter Devaki-nandana. Devaki-nandana means Yasoda-nandana — the son of mother Yasoda. So this is going on . I am saying because these types of abhimana in their heart [of] world. [Compared] in this material world, that will never change [in Goloka]. Sthayi — fixed. This is the thing.

So, vatsalya-abhimana [is] there. As the gopis, they are [with] abhimana with Krsna as like their lover and beloved — abhimana is there. And these types of mood is always going on this way. Transcendental Goloka Vrindavan, and gopis, they are the mood in this. And so this is the sthayi-bhava. Because this main thing is what we subject about? Abhimana — ego. So in this material [world], the ego that is called temporary and changeable. In the transcendental world that is called eternal and transcendental and fixed. That will never change. Eh? These are things. Eh?

So, nitya-siddha krsna-prema sadhya kabhu naya / sravanadi-suddha-citte karaye udaya. In the same way, because [all] the living entities are part and parcel of Lord, and same qualities in the heart of the living entities — as like fire and [its] spark. Spark of the fire. Same quality is there. The difference is here. Vibhu and anu. Vibhu means great. And anu means minute. This is the thing. But in the fire, what things is there? Heat of fire [and light]. Small spark — and that is also a potential to burn. Just need some petrol or something. Then he also created the big fires.

In the same way, those jivas are very minute — cit-kana. Cit-kana jiva krsna-candra-sama / nitya krsna-dasa kari’ karen adhara [Bhaktivinoda-style line; wording soft] — [Srila] Bhaktivinoda Thakura.
