21 Dec 2025 morning – Jiva-tattva (English) – Puebla, Mexico | Srila BV Vana Maharaja

* Sanatana Gosvamipada asks Caitanya Mahaprabhu: “Who am I?”
* Living entities are integral parts of the Lord.
* The difference and similarity between the Lord and the jivas.
* The Lord is the Supreme Enjoyer and the jivas enjoy serving the Lord (seva-sukha).
* From service to the Lord arises bliss (seva-ananda).
* The Lord is also called rasa-ananda, the personification of all rasas.
* If any substance manifests, it possesses its intrinsic nature. This nature can also be called its nitya-dharma (eternal dharma).
* Upon coming to this material world, the soul becomes contaminated with Maya and its nature is transformed.
* In its pure state, the spontaneous nature of the jiva is to serve Krishna.
* Maya has two types of activities.
* We possess three bodies: gross/material, subtle, and transcendental.
* The subtle body and soul continue, after the destruction of the material body, to transmigrate into another gross body.
* When the conditioned soul attains sadhu-sanga and begins to perform bhajana and sadhana, it can gain understanding about these matters.
* By performing sadhana and bhajana, the self-realization that: “I am not this body, I am an eternal servant of Krishna” will come.
* The reason why Maya-devi is striking and chastising us.
* Maya chastises us to purify and correct us, for that is her duty.
* We should turn our gaze to Krishna and serve His lotus feet through service to the guru and chanting the Holy Names. This is the process.
