30 Oct 2025 midday – Ter-kadamba (Hindi) – India | Srila BV Vana Maharaja

  • Ter Kadamba means “calling the cows”.
  • Here, Krsna called the gopis and performed the rasa dance.
  • Here, Rupa Gosvami practiced his bhajana and sadhana.
  • Radha used to cook for Krsna. She would go from Javata to Nandagaon and, on the way, meet Krsna here.
  • Here, Krsna would squirt milk from the cows’ udders onto Srimati Radhika’s face.
  • Funny how Srimati Radhika made a point of passing through Ter Kadamba. She affirmed to Her sakhis that She would indeed pass by there, that She did not care about Krsna’s mischief.
  • To have Krsna’s darshan, Radha broke the cord of Her pearl necklace in order to linger there searching for the pearls on the ground.
  • This is the location of Rupa Gosvami’s bhajana-kutira.
  • Sanatana Gosvami performed his bhajana and sadhana in Nandagaon, in Pavana Sarovara.
  • Sanatana Gosvami met with Rupa Gosvami here. They talked about different sastras, and, on one occasion, Radha made sweet rice for the two of them here in this place.
  • Srimati Radhika was curious to hear the dialogue between Rupa and Sanatana.
  • There is a kadamba tree under which Rupa Gosvami wrote his books. The tree was leafless when he wrote about the pastimes of separation, and full of green when he wrote about the pastimes of encounter.
