- The creepers (latas) are dancing.
- As they approach Govinda, the trees wave Him like fans (camaras) and offer Him fragrant flowers.
- The trees think, “Perhaps Krsna is hungry, after all, He has walked so much,” so they offer extremely fragrant, ripe, and sweet fruits to Sri Krsna.
- These are the moods of the trees of Vraja, for the gopis have transferred their moods to them.
- The trees tightly embrace Govinda as if He were a friend, and tears (sap) automatically flow upon having His darsan.
- When feeling a sense of separation, these trees try to pluck Krsna’s clothes with their thorns and beg Sri Krsna to write their names in His book of remembrance.
- There is an etiquette for speaking without hurting people: using only the positive sense in speech.
- Three things are very precious: the earth, the grains, and language.
- Communication should be attractive, choosing the best words, for positive speech is not offensive.
- Every part of the plant and every being in the forest is a member of a large family, one-pointed in service to Sri Hari.
- If the family does not have Krsna at the center, just as when we draw with a compass, there will be entanglement, so we must be in Krsna-samsara.
- Sukadeva has a darsan (vision) of the Vraja forest and is telling Parakisit Maharaja about it.
- Govinda’s lotus feet are called tirtha-pada (where all sacred places manifest).
