PART 1
– The Lord appeared as Vamanadeva to fulfill the desire of the couple Prsni and Sutapa, after they performed severe austerities in Satya-yuga.
– At the beginning of creation, in Satya-yuga, there was a couple named Prsni and Sutapa who performed severe austerities to meet the Lord.
– The boon Narayana granted this couple was that He Himself would be born as their son for three lifetimes.
– The first son, the Lord Himself, is named Prsnigarbha – the worshipable Deity of Dhruva Maharaja.
– The second, Vamana Deva, appears when this couple reincarnated in Svarga Loka as Aditi and Kasyapa.
– The third son, Lord Krsna, appears in Kamsa jail to Devaki and Vasudeva.
– Sudha-bhakta asks nothing in return from the Lord; everything he does is solely for Krsna’s pleasure.
– One must listen to the katha of Prahlada and Dhruva Maharaja 100 times before one can hear about rasa-lila.
– Prahlada Mahajara was an uttama-adhikari; his father was already liberated. He asks Nrsimhadeva for blessings to preach the Holy Names and save all souls, even if he has to go to hell to suffer the karma of all of them.
– Kanisthas liberate seven generations on both the father’s and mother’s sides; madhyamas save fourteen generations; and uttamas save twenty-one generations of the family.
– There is no guarantee that if the parents are religious, their children will be too. Although the Lord is equanimous with all living entities, He will always bestow His blessings on those who take refuge in Him.
– Whenever a fire sacrifice takes place, donations must be offered to the brahmanas for the ceremony to be successful.
– Bali Maharaja stole the kingdom of Svarga from the demigods, and despite being a demon, he was a very pious king, offering charity and fire sacrifices.
– At the moment Bali performs the fire ceremony, Vamana Deva appears.
– Vamana Deva takes the form of a very beautiful and effulgent dwarf.
– Upon seeing Vamana Deva, Ratnamala, Bali Maharaja’s daughter, thought, “If He were my son, I would breastfeed Him.”
– Krsna fulfills all our desires.
– When Vamana Deva took away all of Bali Maharaja’s property, Ratnamala became very enraged and wanted to put poison in her breasts to kill Him.
– About the donation Vamanadeva requested from Bali Maharaja.
