– To obtain perfect sadhu-sanga (the company of holy devotees), it is necessary to listen to Harikatha very attentively, keeping it in our hearts, and practicing what we hear.
– The process of achieving sadhu-sanga is achieved by first maturing our sukrti; otherwise, we abandon spiritual practice.
– Through sadhu-sanga, love and devotion for Radha and Krsna manifest in our hearts.
– After bhakti matures, we will reach the abode of the Lord.
– The book Nectar of Instruction explains the six limbs of sadhu-sanga, such as giving and receiving, asking confidential questions about your sadhana and bhajana, feeding the Sadhu, and honoring his remnants.
– Activities that have an inner meaning, for example, feeding on the Guru’s remnants, mean maintaining the Guru’s mood in our hearts.
– When it is said that we should drink the water that washed the Guru’s lotus feet, it means that we should be thirsty to hear his Harikatha.
– All our material desires will be extinguished if we maintain the habit of hearing and practicing what is said in the Harikathas.
– Whether Bhakti Devi manifests will depend on how much faith you have developed in your Guru.
– Even if we practice devotional life for thousands of lives, we will never be free of Maya if we do not have Guru-nistha.
– Perhaps one day we will attain Krsna-prema, but now our task is to have firm faith in Sri Guru’s instructions.
– The Guru will test our qualifications.
