- The kanistha-adhikari places great emphasis on the worship of the Deities, but his faith is weak, he does not have a good knowledge of the Scriptures. However, he has faith in the Guru and the Scriptures.
- The madhyama-adhikari has four qualities and all the instructions of the Upadesamrta are for him.
- The uttama-adhikari, he does not need instructions; he never sees things externally, everything is related to the lilas that arise automatically within him.
- The kanistha-adhikari has to do service to accumulate sukrti, he should also not take instructions.
- The first verse of the Upadesamrta talks about how we should control our senses.
