  • Sloka: anya-abhilāṣitā-śūnyam …(CC Madhya 19.167), definition of sudha bhakti.
  • Sanatana Gosvami in his Brhad Bhagavatamrtam talks about the five types of devotees.
  • The five types of devotees are: jñānī-bhakta prahlāda mahārāja, śuddha-bhakta ambarīṣa mahārāja, premī-bhakta hanumān, prema-para-bhakta pāṇḍavas, premātura-bhakta uddhava mahārāja.
  • Among the vrajavasis, the gopis stand out; among these, the highest devotee, bhakta mukuṭa-śiromaṇi is Srimati Radhika.
  • Dhruva-Mahārāja is sakāma-bhakta, his sadhana and bhajana were to satisfy his own material desires.
  • Ambarisa Mahārāja, sudha-bhakta, pure devotion to the Lord.
  • Varieties of humor of devotees: saint, dasya, sakhya, vatsalya and madhurya.
  • Four different types of prasada: for chewing, licking, drinking and sucking.
  • Srimati Radhika satisfies Krsna entirely, but for His pleasure She manifests millions of consorts.
  • In Goloka Vrndavana, the houses are made of cintamani, stone of desires, the trees are kalpa vriksa and the cows are kamadenu which also fulfill all desires, as Vrndavana is beautiful.
  • When the gopis chant the names of the Lord, their hearts melt and their eyes fill with tears.
