The fifth section: Sundara-kanda, presents beautiful instructions.
The sixth section: Lanka-kanda, presents the struggles and obstacles to be overcome through the battle against Ravana. It also establishes that human life is intended for spiritual existence.

The jiva obtains samskaras (good impressions) from association with sadhus, but often the bad behaviour does not change. However, chanting the Holy Names in sadhu-sanga can change a person’s character.
