– Sadhu-sanga and harikatha are very rare. – Eating, sleeping, defending oneself and mating are common in animal and human life. – Being human means doing sadhana and bhajana for the Lord. – Siddha-bhakti is the desire to serve Sri Krsna. – Sloka: brahmāṇḍa bhramite kona bhāgyavān jīva guru-kṛṣṇa-prasāde pāya bhakti-latā-bīja (Sri CC Madhya-lila 19.151). – The meaning in receiving diksa-mantras from the Guru is sambhanda-jnana and destruction of the anarthas. – Sloka: ceto-darpaṇa-mārjanaṁ bhava-mahādāvāgni-nirvāpanaṁśreyaḥ-kairava-candrikā-vitaraṇaṁ (Siksastakam 1st verse). – Instructions on how we should chant the holy names. – Sloka: vāco vegaṁ manasaḥ krodha-vegaṁ jihvā-vegam udaropastha-vegam etān vegān yo viṣaheta dhīraḥ sarvām apīmāṁ (Upadesamrta 1). – How can we realize that we are the soul and not the body?
