- Baladeva Prabhu is the one who gives us spiritual strength. Without Him it is impossible to walk the path of spiritual self-realisation, because He is akanda-guru-tattva.

- Sat (existence)/Balarama; Cit (knowledge)/Krsna; Ananda (bliss)/Radha.
- In this world everyone lives in unhappiness and suffering.
- Baladeva serves Krsna in ten ways.
- Baladeva creates the platform for Krishna to appear in this world.
- Yogamaya transferred Baladeva from the womb of Devaki (where He spent 6 months) to the womb of Rohini (where He spent 8 months).
- Baladeva is Krishna’s shoes, clothes, asana, umbrella. He is the embodiment of service to Krishna.
- The only difference between Krsna and Baladeva is the colour of the body and Baladeva’s feeling of service to Krsna.
- The guru is the manifest form of service to Krishna. Baladeva, teach us by His example.
- Baladeva Prabhu killed Dhenukasura, the personification of ignorance.

- The greatest folly, the origin of ignorance, is the identification of the body with the self.

- Through his love and chastisement, the true guru purifies and nourishes the heart of the disciple in many ways.
- With His club Baladeva breaks all the stones and with His plough He prepares the ground of our heart. Pratistha (desire for fame) is the greatest of all stones.
- Baladeva performed the rasa dance with the gopis and in the next age appeared as Nityananda Prabhu, who is even more merciful than Caitanya Mahaprabhu.
- Ni means ‘protect’ and Tai means ‘whatever you want, I will give’.
