When his colleagues also could not remember Hanuman’s name, he increased their share of the profit, and immediately they remembered Hanuman’s name.
– Story from the book Acharya Keshari: After Srila Bhakti Kushala Narasimha Maharaja collected 25 rupees and gave only 15 rupees to Srila BP Keshava Gosvami Maharaja, keeping 10 rupees for his own needs, Srila BP Keshava Gosvami Maharaja chastised him. He took all the money and later returned 10 rupees to him, saying: “If you take money without offering everything to Guru, you will not be able to digest it and you will develop desires for sense gratification. But after offering it to Guru, the money becomes blessed, and you can use it without vishaya-vasana.”
