Bhakti Chakora Ashram
* If you practice bhakti and approach a sadhu, two things will manifest in your heart: jnana (transcendental knowledge) and vairagya (detachment from sense gratification).
* Seva-vrtti is para-bhakti, the highest devotional service.
* There are different types of bhakti. Sakama-bhakti is serving the Lord with material desires, for example: Dhruva Maharaja.
* Even practicing devotional service with material desires, we will automatically abandon that desire when Krsna-rasa awakens in the heart.
* In this material world, all material things are useless and temporary and bring unhappiness and suffering; this is the nature of this world.
* The darshan of Krishna’s beautiful lotus feet is very rare even for Brahma, Shiva, and Narada.
* Song: Krishna Deva Bhavantam Vande by Srila Rupa Gosvamipada speaks about the effulgence of Krishna’s big toenail.
* Gurudeva explains that Vishnu has many names according to what He holds, and explains the difference.
* What form of Vishnu gave darshan to Dhruva Maharaja? After the darshan, he reigned in Satya-yuga for 36,000 years without hindrance and then went to Dhruvaloka.
* Karma, jnana, and tapasya do not bear fruit independently; but Bhakti-devi is independent; by practicing bhakti, all fruits will automatically come.
* Bhakti-devi is like Maharani, the great queen, and all the servants run after her to serve her.
* Dharma, artha, kama, and moksha will come after attaining suddha-bhakti.
* The highest bhakti in this Kali-yuga is Nama-sankirtana.
* What are the fruits of hearing Harikatha? Chanting the Holy Names appropriately.
* Sravana, kirtana, and smarana serve to help chant the pure Holy Names.
* Ajamila chanted the name of his son (Narayana), attained namabhasa, and went to Vaikuntha. He who chants the pure Holy Names will go to Goloka Vrndavana.
* The Holy Names are very powerful; chant the Holy Names!
* Gurudeva explains the Sloka: harer nāma harer… (Śrī Caitanya-caritāmṛta Ādi-līlā 7.76).
