It is said that during the Mughal attack on Jagannath Puri, the priests quickly took Thakurji from the temple to protect the deities.
For some time, Jagannath, Baladeva and Subhadra Ji were kept here and worshipped in this very place.
We came here with Srila Gurudeva Srimad Bhaktivedanta Vana Gosvami Maharaja Ji and heard about this history.
The place looks simple, but when you hear what happened here, it feels very special.
