19 Dec 2025 evening – We Are Eternal Servants of Krishna (English) – Mexico City, Mexico | Srila BV Vana Maharaja
tvdegurudev
Human life is very rare, and only in this life form can we perform devotional service to the Supreme Lord.
The conditioned soul cannot perform devotional service properly because it has many defects.
In other yugas (eras), people performed harsh austerities, fire sacrifices, and meditation.
In this Kali-yuga, the recommended process is very simple: chanting the Holy Names, but care must be taken not to commit the ten offenses.
Guru-bhogi are those gurus who are absorbed in sense gratification.
The Guru plants the seed of bhakti in the disciple’s heart through the mantra, and it needs to be watered every day by the disciple.
If we do not listen to Harikatha (lectures about Lord Hari), the seed of devotion will never sprout.
This seed has the power to serve Krishna, since the conditioned soul has a natural tendency to serve Maya.
By great good fortune we arrived at the Krishna consciousness movement.
Regarding the four reliable sampradayas.
Every day we need to read and recite the song that speaks about our Guru Parampara (the disciplic succession line).
In the transcendental world, Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura is Kamala Manjari, and he brought as his own son the manjari Nayana Mani Manjari (Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada).
The places where elevated Vaisnavas visit are called Mahatirtha.
People who criticize others end up absorbing the defects of those they criticize.
Regarding the story of the brahmana who criticized a pure devotee and had to have several births with leprosy.
All the places in Vrndavana have the footprints of Srimati Radhika.
