– Gita Jayanti is an annual celebration of the Bhagavad Gita, celebrated on Ekadasi. The word Jayanti is used only in relation to Bhagavan.
– The Gita is sabda-brahman, a transcendental vibration, and manifests directly from the lotus mouth of Sri Krishna to Arjuna.
– The highest knowledge in the Gita is about atma. Arjuna is on the battlefield and sees his own family members, the Kauravas and Pandavas, on both sides.
– Arjuna’s mind is troubled, and he questions: What is the purpose of this war? What will we gain from this? Why are they in this war?
