- Among innumerable species of living beings, attaining a human form is very rare.
- God grants us the human body for devotional service (bhajana and sadhana).
- Living beings are absorbed in 4 activities: eating, sleeping, defending themselves and procreating.
- The 5 types of manifestation of consciousness: acchadita-cetana, sankucita-cetana, mukulita-cetana, vikasita-cetana and purna-vikasita-cetana.
- The inherent nature of the soul is to serve Lord Krsna. Srila Gurudeva teaches serving Krsna in a proper manner.
- We must cross the 3 modes of material nature: sattva (goodness), rajas (passion) and tamas (ignorance).
