Sri Advaita Acarya a very dear and intimate associate of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu.
Sri Advaita Acarya is the combined form of Maha-Visnu and Sadasiva.
Maha-Visnu is responsible for creation and Sadasiva for destruction.
The meaning of the name Advaita, non-dual, non-different from the Lord.
Visnu-tattva and Bhagavat-tattva.
The meaning of Acarya, one who practices bhajana-sadhana and establishes perfect conclusions from the Scriptures.
Advaita Acarya has established in a pure manner how to serve the Lord.
The Scriptures say that only through the practice of pure devotion is it possible to attain the Lord; other processes such as karma, jnana (knowledge), yoga (austerities) are flawed.
In Kali-yuga, the practice should be the congregational chanting of the Holy Names, Nama Sankirtana.
There are 64 members of bhakti (devotion), but the most prominent form is chanting the Holy Names.
