After accumulating sukrti from many lives, we obtain sadhu-sanga, and after listening to the sadhu’s Harikatha, the desire for Bhakti manifests in the heart.
Srila Visvanatha Cakravartipada says “adau sadhu-sanga” (first sadhu-sanga) and Srila Rupa Gosvami says “adam sraddha tatu sadhu-sanga” (first faith, then sadhu-sanga).
