Through harinama it is possible to achieve everything: harer nāma harer nāma (CC Madhya 6.242).
Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu says: “O Raya Ramananda, O Svarupa Damodara, how should one chant? In sadhu-sanga and nama-sankirtana, this is the method.”
There is no difference between nama (name) and nami (the Lord). Caitanya Mahaprabhu is Nama and Nami, it is nama-vigraha-svarupa, to think that they are different is an offense.
Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu made a garland of nama-prema and put it on everyone’s neck, this is his mercy!
All desires are achieved by harinama. Nama-rasa is the personification of transcendental sweetness.
The Holy Names grant Krsna-prema and manjari-bhava to everyone. Before the advent of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu these topics were not mentioned.
This highest prema, Sriman Mahaprabhu manifested through His associates, and He Himself also manifested it.
Mahaprabhu distributes to everyone, without any kind of discrimination, grants prema to low and vile people and brahmanas. Everyone hugs and sings. Goura Prema Anande!
Why does Mahaprabhu give this highest prema to the most fallen and low?
Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu is “namo maha vadanyaya…”, magnanimous, munificent, immensely generous and kind.
The magnanimity found in Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu is not seen in any other incarnation of Lord Krishna.
