07/03/24 morning – The Mercy of Gurudeva and Krsna (English) – Pipa, Brazil | Srila BV Vana Maharaja
tvdegurudev
Since time immemorial (anadi-kala) conditioned souls have been wandering and suffering in this material world: sleeping, eating, mating and defending themselves.
The souls manifested themselves from the tatastha-sakti potency of the Lord.
But, Guru and Vaisnavas are so merciful, they help us to change our lifestyle.
The Lord is very merciful in giving us this human body to do sadhana. But most people do not know whom to worship, and they worship speculatively, without sastra-jnana.
There are those who practise black magic and worship ghosts, witches and sacrifice animals.
There are those who after death go to the planets of ghosts, or demigods, or ancestors (parents). These have no sastra-jnana.
There are those who practice sadhana aiming to reach Lord Krsna’s planet. These will never return to this material world of suffering.
About the three miseries: adhibhautika; adhidaivika; adhyatmika.
Be one-pointed (ekantik-nistha) in Krsna, and practise the nine-step process of Bhakti.
Ananya-bhajana means giving up karma, jnana, yoga and tapasya; practice only bhakti-yoga.
In Kali-yuga just chant the Hare Krsna Mahamantra.
In Kali-yuga, jivas have only one good qualification, doing nama-sankirtana, and their sins are purified.
The jivas of Kali-yuga are very fallen. Then, Krsna, with pity, grants us shelter. That’s why even demigods want to have a human form in Kali-yuga.
Story of the father who gave a large sum of money to each of his three children.
In Kali-yuga it is not possible to properly practise the spiritual processes of the other yugas, but by chanting the Hare Krsna Mahamantra it is possible to achieve all the auspicious results of all the processes.
Purification mantra: om apavitraḥ pavitro vā sarvāvasthāṁ gato ’pi vā/ yaḥ smaret puṇḍarīkākṣaṁ sa bahyābhyantaraḥ śuciḥ/ śrī-viṣṇu śrī-viṣṇ u śrī-viṣṇu (Srimad Bhagavatam 6.8.4–6).
People have no memory to sing slokas, but by chanting the Mahamantra, the Lord accepts their offerings.
Beautiful story of the child who, with faith and sincerity, offered bhoga to Thakuraji and Thakuraji ate it all.
The Supreme Lord has a beautiful transcendental body!
