Diksa-mantras that are not received from a reliable Sampradaya do not bear fruit.
Verse: sampradāya-vihīnā ye mantrās te niṣphalā matāḥ (Padma Purana).
Sri Sampradaya has Laksmi Devi as its origin; Brahma Sampradaya has Brahma as its origin; Rudra Sampradaya has Siva as its origin; and Sanaka Sampradaya has its origins in the Four Kumaras (Sanatana, Sanaka, Sanandana and Sanatkumara).
Ramanuja is directly the manifestation of Laksman.
Ramanuja corrected his Guru, Yadavacarya, due to the erroneous description he had given about the beauty of Lord Visnu.
Ramanuja sought refuge in Yamunacarya.
Ramanuja wrote his commentary on the Vedanta Sutra, Sri Bhasya.
Krsna is the only one who can affirm “aham brahman asmin” – “I am Brahma”.
The realization of the eternal function of the soul – being an eternal servant of Krsna – grants liberation from the clutches of Maya.
Verse: daivī hy eṣā guṇa-mayī — mama māyā duratyayā (Bhagavad-Gita 7.14).
How to surrender to Krsna.
Verse: kṛṣṇa bhuli’ sei jīva anādi-bahirmukha (CC Madhya-lila 20.117).
The two activities of Maya: avarana-atmika-vrtti, the tendency to cover the jivas, making them forget Krsna; and viksepa-atmika-vrtti, throwing the jivas into this material world.
