PART 1
- Whoever stays in Mathura for a day attains prema-bhakti.
- Mathura Dhama is not an ordinary place.
- First we have to obtain the mercy of Mathura Devi, and then go to Vrndavana, without this it is not possible.
- The importance of Mathura Devi. Srila Gurudeva Bhakti Prajnana Kesava Gosvami Maharaja established the first Matha (Temple) in Mathura.
- First you need to go to Visrama-gatha in Mathura (where Krsna bathed after killing Kamsa), to do acamana, and only then go to Vrndavana.
- With the body it is possible to go to Vrndavana, but to go with the heart, only with the mercy of Mathura Devi.
- Srila Rupa Gosvami Pada explains that wherever Mathura Devi goes, all the holy places go there and sit at her feet, as if she were a queen.
- Mathura means: “Ma”, mukti (liberation) and “thura”, quickly go to Vrndavana.
- Passtimes of Dirgha Visnu.
- Kamsa sends Akrura to Vrndavana to fetch Krsna and Balarama, and the sakhas go with him. Krsna then manifests a gigantic form to be able to fight with Kamsa. This is Dirgha Visnu.
- It does not matter how opulent Krsna manifests, because for the vrajavasis, Krsna is not God. Krsna is a member of their family.
- Krsna’s opulence in Vrndavana is incomparable.
- The vrajavasis are expansions of Krsna, parikara tattva, nitya-siddha parikaras. They are not ordinary people.
- Krsna is the possessor of potency, and Radha is the internal potency of Krsna.
- Arjuna upon seeing the universal form of Krsna, paid obeisances. Arjuna and Krsna’s friendly relationship is filled with the mood of opulence, unlike the Vrajavasis.
