Srila Gurudeva BV Vana Gosvami Maharaja is in the Philippines for the same reason Srila Svami Prabhupada preached all over the world.
The conditioned souls are constantly wandering through the fourteen planetary systems, rising and falling.
It’s not so easy to come out of the clutches of Maya. Chanting the mahamantra is the medicine.
The result of doing material charity is temporary, the best charity is to give the mahamantra, because this mantra can liberate us from the material world.

We have a transcendental body made up of sat, cit and ananda. You are an eternal soul, but you don’t remember it.
Sloka: ceto-darpaṇa-mārjanaṁ bhava-mahā-dāvāgni-nirvāpaṇaṁ (CC. Antya-lila 20.12).
The mahamantra purifies the mirror of the heart, because since the Lord is a friend, He enters the heart and purifies it.
Merciful sloka: śṛṇvatāṁ sva-kathāḥ kṛṣṇaḥ (SB. 1.2.17).
The Guru is a friend of Krsna, and Krsna purifies the heart of the one who is a friend of His friend!
The sign that the heart is clean is the appearance of krsna-prema, which makes the devotee sing and dance, cry and laugh.

Sloka: tṛṇād api sunīcena (Siksastakam – verse 3).
Sing the mahamantra, chant the holy names carefully and do not offend the holy names.
Indra offends his Guru Brhaspati and suffers reactions.
Nama is very powerful.
The holy names are cintamani (wish stones), we must chant with firm faith and miracles will happen if we never criticise the sadhus.
Gurudeva doesn’t just give japa-mala, he gives harinama – Radha and Krishna.
Our goal is Gurudeva’s satisfaction: vapu-seva, vani-seva and brhad-mrdanga-seva – to preach all over the world!
