TRANSCRIPT

So today is a very super-excellent auspicious day, we are going to celebrate the appearance day of nitya-lila-pravishta om vishnupada ashtottara-shata Sri Srimad Bhaktisiddhanta Srila Sarasvati Prabhupada, he is the origin, founder and acharya of our Gaudiya mission. Srila Bhakti Rakshaka Sridhara Gosvami Maharaja very nice glorified about his Gurudeva. Sujanārvuda-rādhita-pāda-yugaḿ. Nitya-lila-pravishta om vishnupada ashtottara-shata Srila Bhakti Rakshaka Sridhara Gosvami Maharaja glorified his Gurudeva Bhaktisiddhanta Srila Sarasvati Prabhupada, he is as like a very nice beautiful delightful moon and all the direction completely illuminated with the rays of the moon. All his disciples as like ray of the moon, and he is like very nice beautiful moon. So Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Srila Sarasvati Prabhupada he preached all over the world through his disciples and because all of his disciples they are all very qualified so for this regard he sent them all the world to preach the message of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu.

Because Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu  told:

pṛthivīte āche yata nagarādi grāma
sarvatra pracāra haibe mora nāma

Chaitanya-bhagavata (Antya-khanda 4.126)

Gaurasundara predicted, “My name will be preached all over the world.” So for this regard, His all eternal associates, they also appeared in the world, and they fulfilled all the desires of Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. And especially, Srila Narottoma dasa Thakura, he quoted one verse:

śrī-caitanya-mano-‘bhīṣṭaḿ

sthāpitaḿ yena bhū-tale

svayaḿ rūpaḥ kadā mahyaḿ

dadāti sva-padāntikam

Sri Rupa Pranama

[When will Srila Rupa Gosvami Prabhupada, who has established within this material world the mission to fulfill the desire of Lord Chaitanya, give me shelter under his lotus feet?]

Sri Rupa Gosvamipada, who fulfilled all the desires of Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, when will Srila Rupa Gosvami give me shelter unto his lotus feet then I will serve under guidance of Rupa Manjari. Because Rupa Gosvamipada is the very nearest and dearest of Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, and Rupa Manjari, she is the very nearest and dearest of Srimati Radhika.

So in our line, that is called rupa-anugatya-bhajana, how to serve Srimati Radhika under guidance of Rupa Manjari. In the same way, Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada, he manifested this rupa-anugatya-bhajanapaddhati. This is very important in our spiritual life. So Bhaktisiddhanta Prabhupada, he explained the five types of the knowledge, first is called pratyaksha-jnana, the direct knowledge with our senses. That is called pratyaksha-jnana. Another is paroksha-jnana, the indirect knowledge, another, aparoksha-jnana, which are the knowledge of brahma-jnana, that is the called the aparoksha-jnana. And fourth, that is called the adhokshaja-jnana, vaikuntha-jnana, knowledge of transcendental world, that knowledge is called vaikuntha-jnana, knowledge of Vaikuntha. And fifth, that is the knowledge called aprakrita-jnana. Aprakrita-jnana. That is the transcendental knowledge. That is called the Goloka Vrindavana, the knowledge of Goloka Vrindavana. Vrajavasis, how they serve Krishna in their transcendental mood. And Vrajavasis, they have a relationship with Krishna as like their family member. That is called laukika-sad-bandhuvat-priti, that means Vrajavasis they make friendship with Krishna as like their family member.

Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Prabhupada, he also manifested this types of knowledge of aprakrita-jnana, goloka-vrindavana-jnana. So just I also explain pratyaksha-jnana. That is called knowledge of our material senses, sometimes our material senses not giving the perfect knowledge, because conditioned soul have four faults – bhrama, pramada, vipralipsa and karana-apatava, so pratyaksha-jnana, knowledge of the perfection of knowledge of our senses. Not sometimes giving the perfect knowledge. So there are faults are there. Then, paroksha-jnana, means the knowledge of heavenly planet knowledge that is called paroksha-jnana and or indirect knowledge or aparoksha-jnana that is called brahma-jnana, how to merge in Brahma, and that should also be rejected. And adhokshaja-jnana, the knowledge of the transcendental world. That is called vaikuntha-jnana, but our shastras also saying this vaikuntha-jnana is, their birth is of Gaudiya Vaisnava, they are explained, vaikuntha-jnana, the knowledge of Vaikuntha-dhama, the mood of opulence. Aprakrita-jnana, prakritavat natu prakita, that means that knowledge of transcendental world, Goloka Vrindavana, they are relationship to Krishna and serve to Krishna as like their families member, that is called the…and full of madhurya, sweetness mood in there.

For this regard, Brahma-stutis coming also this way. When Brahmaji recited the ones verse:

aho bhāgyam aho bhāgyaṁ
nanda-gopa-vrajaukasām
yan-mitraṁ paramānandaṁ
pūrṇaṁ brahma sanātanam

Srimad-Bhagavatam (10.14.32)

[How greatly fortunate are Nanda Maharaja, the cowherd men and all the other inhabitants of Vrajabhumi! There is no limit to their good fortune, because the Absolute Truth, the source of transcendental bliss, the eternal Supreme Brahman, has become their friend.]

Then Lord Krishna, He smiled, because our shastra explained this way: if anybody glorified Vrajavasis, then Krishna cannot hide His mood. So Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada in his anubhashya (commentaries) in Chaitanya-charitamrita also explained, if anybody glorified Vrajavasis, then Krishna is very happy. So for this regard, Sri Manah-shiksha (2), Srila Raghunatha dasa Gosvami very nicely explained, every shloka he explained how to glorify in Vraja:

na dharmaṁ nādharmaṁ śruti-gana-niruktaṁ kila kuru
vraje rādhā-krsna-pracura-paricaryām iha tanu
śacī-sūnuṁ nandīśvara-pati-sutatve guru-varaṁ
mukunda-preṣṭhatve smara padam ajasraṁ nanu manaḥ

[O my dear mind, please do not perform either the routine religious activities resulting in piety (dharma) or the irreligious activities resulting in sin (adharma) as mentioned in the Shrutis or Vedas. Rather, you should render profuse loving service to Sri Sri Radha-Krishna Yugala here in Vraja, for the Shrutis have ascertained Them to be the highest principle of supreme worship and the Supreme Absolute Truth. Always meditate on Sacinandana Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, who is richly endowed with the complexion and sentiments of Srimati Radhika, as non-different from Sri Nanda-nandana. And always remember the spiritual master as most dear to Sri Mukunda.]

In Manah-shiksha, most of the verse, Srila Raghunatha dasa Gosvami glorified how to submerge in vraja-prema. These things also. So Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada he told, I want to give these types of vraja-prema, but now this world is full of jungles. Whole life, I spend my life cutting down jungles. Because shastra saying, if sadhaka not cutting jungles from his heart, how possible shuddha-bhakti will manifest in his heart, because ones heart is full of anarthas, unwanted things, lust, anger, enviousness, duplicity, hypocrisy, chala, kapata, how will the shuddha-bhakti manifest? So sadhaka first have to remove all kinds of anarthas from his heart. So Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada he also very humble told this verse, my life, my whole life just I spent cutting the jungles.

He also gave so much nectar, vraja-prema, those who are qualified, he distributed this prema also, because rupanuga-bhajana, this is our aim and object. Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada, he gave his own identification in his pranama-mantra:

nama oṁ viṣṇu-pādāya kṛṣṇa-preṣṭhāya bhū-tale
śrīmate bhaktisiddhānta-sarasvatīti nāmine

śrī-vārṣabhānavī-devī-dayitāya kṛpābdhaye
kṛṣṇa-sambandha-vijñāna-dāyine prabhave namaḥ

mādhuryojjvala-premāḍhya-śrī-rūpānuga-bhaktida
śrī-gaura-karuṇā-śakti-vigrahāya namo ‘stu te

namas te gaura-vāṇī-śrī-mūrtaye dīna-tāriṇe
rūpānuga-viruddhāpasiddhānta-dhvānta-hāriṇe

[I offer my respectful obeisances unto His Divine Grace Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati, who is very dear to Lord Krishna, having taken shelter at His lotus feet. I offer my respectful obeisances to Sri Varshabhanavi-devi-dayita dasa (another name of Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati), who is favored by Srimati Radharani and who is the ocean of transcendental mercy and the deliverer of the science of Krishna. I offer my respectful obeisances unto you, the personified energy of Sri Chaitanya’s mercy, who deliver devotional service which is enriched with conjugal love of Radha and Krishna, coming exactly in the line of revelation of Srila Rupa Gosvami. I offer my respectful obeisances unto you, who are the personified teachings of Lord Chaitanya. You are the deliverer of the fallen souls. You do not tolerate any statement which is against the teachings of devotional service enunciated by Srila Rupa Gosvami.]

He is giving his own identification, śrī-vārṣabhānavī-devī-dayitāya, that means very nearest and dearest of Vrishabhanu-nandini Srimati Radhika’s sakhi. So that means Sri Radhika’s very nearest and dearest sakhi. So for this regard, he used this word, śrī-vārṣabhānavī-devī-dayitāya.

First he cut all the apa-siddhanta, he destroyed all the apa-siddhanta: that means sahajiya, sakhi-bhekis, they contaminated Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s philosophy. Especially in Bengal, people, they also committed all kinds of sinful activities. And they are thinking, just chant holy name, no need to follow any rules of regulation. You can do anything as you like. But Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada, he preached against the sahajiyas, sakhi-bhekis, apa-sampradayas, also smarta-brahmanas, because that time smarta-brahmanas they also made their own business, how to collect money from the innocent people. But Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada he preached against the smarta, sahajiya, sakhi-bheki and others. Not only this, also many people as like Ramakrishna Mission, others they also preaching the philosophy, yata mata tata patha, “There are many mathas, there are many opinion and also there are many paths.” You can go any path and you will be attain in the same place. But Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada, he told, this is the completely wrong philosophy. They also explained, if you want to go the market, you can go anyway and you will arrive in the market, same place, but Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada explained, if you want to go transcendental world, Goloka Vrindavana, you should be one-pointed with Krishna, otherwise you cannot go.

Give an example, if you write one letter, the postman will see the address, all the letters will be first coming in one box, but then coming to the according to the address that will go to that place. If you write the address to go London, that will go London. If you write the address Germany, France, it will go to a different place, not the same. In the same way, first you determine, your perfection, where you will go. Yata mata tata patha – This is completely wrong conception, so for this regard, shastra is saying:

mahājano yena gataḥ sa panthāḥ

Chaitanya-charitamrita (Madhya-lila 17.186)

[One should accept whatever progressive path the mahajanas advocate.]

Only one path how to follow the footsteps of our bona fide sampradaya-acharya. Otherwise we will not attain our perfection goal.

So Bhaktisiddhanta Srila Sarasvati Prabhupada he cut their philosophy and also cut the philosophy of mayavadi, impersonalist: aham brahmasmi (“I am Brahman”), prajnanam brahma (“Prajnana is Brahman”, or “Brahman is Prajnana”), sarvam khalvidam brahma (“All this is Brahman”), tat tvam asi (“Atma is Brahman”). Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada cut their philosophy. Only one path, how to do sadhana-bhajana. Even sahajiyas, sakhi-bhekis, they also ahamgraha-upasana, he also cut their philosophy. No, everybody have to do bhajana and sadhana under guidance of bona-fide genuine guru. So Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada he also explained in this way but simultaneously he also gave the drop of nectar, sweet Vraja, these things, and Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada he explained this way, how to develop our bhajana and sadhana, adau shraddha, tatah sadhu-sanga, anartha-nivritti, nishtha, ruchi, asakti, bhava and prema. This is called the siddha-pranali, because before many people they also specially apa-sampradayas, they are saying, they also explain their siddha-pranali, that the perfect process they are thinking, just you come and you also take your manjari-svarupa and do sadhana-bhajana. But Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada told no, first you remove all your anarthas from your heart and simultaneously you realise of your constitutional form.

So how to realise this, for this regard, Rupa Gosvamipada explained, adau shraddha, tatah sadhu-sanga, anartha-nivritti, nishtha, ruchi, asakti, bhava and prema. This is called the perfect siddha-pranali. And another siddha-pranali also Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu manifested called:

tṛṇād api sunīcena
taror iva sahiṣṇunā
amāninā māna-dena
kīrtanīyaḥ sadā hariḥ

Shikshashtaka (3)

[One who is humbler than a blade of grass and more tolerant than a tree, who gives due respect to others without desiring it for himself is qualified to always chant the holy names of Sri Hari.]

Kīrtanīyaḥ sadā hariḥ, only chant holy names. But how will you chant holy names? Shuddha-nama. If you want to chant shuddha-nama, then he explained associate with the shuddha-bhakta. With the association of the shuddha-bhakta, then shuddha-nama will manifest on our tongue. This is the process. So Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada he cut the philosophies of sahajiyas, sakhi-bhekis and apa-sampradayas, smarta-brahmanas, they tried to kill to Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada and nearby Paramatala, they attacked to him. That time thousand thousand pilgrims they also performing Navadvipa-dhama parikrama, that time everybody ran away here and there, because they threw soda bottles and also different kinds of acid and also torturing to the others so everybody ran away. That time Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada he was surrounded by his nearest and dearest disciple, Bhakti Prajnana Keshava Gosvami Maharaja; that time Vinoda-bihari Brahmachari. And Vinoda-bihari Brahmachari, he brought to him to one village house and he was staying in there. That time all the sahajiyas also attacked to that place. That time Vinoda-bihari Brahmachari he told to Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada, “Prabhupada give your cloth, your saffron cloth to me and you take my white cloth.” That time Vinoda-bihari Brahmachari’s white cloth. But Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada told, “If you stay alone they will also kill to you.” That time Vinoda-bihari Brahmachari told, “Gurudeva, if you stay in this material world you can also deliver the millions and millions of living entities from this world. I am as like insignificant as like small ant, if I die, no harm.” But Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada first told, “No, No, I do not want to give this sannyasa cloth.” But Vinoda-bihari Brahmachari he took Prabhupada’s sannyasa cloth and he is staying there, and Prabhupada came out the back door. In this way Srila Vinoda-bihari Brahmachari he protect his Guru. So this guru-seva, means how to serve our Gurudeva with body, mind and speech. So many times Srila Gurudeva, Srila Narayana Gosvami Maharaja, when he talked about his Guru, Bhakti Prajnana Keshava Maharaja, then his heart melted and tears rolling down from the eyes and how Srila Bhakti Prajnana Keshava Maharaja, means Vinoda-bihari Brahmachari, protect his Guru. As like Ramanujacharya’s disciple, Kuresha, protect his Guru, Ramanujacharya. In the same way, Srila Bhakti Prajnana Keshava Gosvami Maharaja he protected his Guru, Bhaktisiddhanta Srila Sarasvati Prabhupada.

guru-śuśrūṣayā bhaktyā
sarva-labdhārpaṇena ca
saṅgena sādhu-bhaktānām
īśvarārādhanena ca

Srimad-Bhagavatam (7.7.30)

[One must accept the bona fide spiritual master and render service unto him with great devotion and faith. Whatever one has in one’s possession should be offered to the spiritual master.]

Guru-seva, guru-bhakti, that is called the backbone of our bhajana and sadhana

When we discuss about Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada life history or we discuss about Bhakti Prajnana Keshava Gosvami Maharaja life history automatically spontaneous manifested in our heart, this lila, how Bhakti Prajnana Keshava Gosvami Maharaja, he served his Prabhupada-padma.

Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada once he told, I will build one hundred and eight temples, that time Sri Sarojavasini-devi [the aunt of Vinoda-bihari Brahmachari]told, “Oh, you are sleeping on the torn blanket and just you are dreaming,” (Hindi 27:45), that means you are sleeping on the (stone?) blanket, thinking you are flying in the sky. That time Saroja Pishima, told, “If you build the one hundred and eight temples, who will also management these temples?” That time Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada he indicated his fingers to Vinoda-bihari Brahmachari. “My Vinoda-bihari Brahmachari he will maintain all the temples. So Vinoda-bihari Brahmachari, he also fulfilled all the desires of Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada. All our acharya they also fulfilled all their Guru’s desires because this is the symptoms of bona-fide disciple. Bona-fide disciples, his only one aim and object, how will I fulfil the desires of my Gurupada-padma? Sri guru mano bhishtam, caitanya mano-bhishtam also explained there, sri guru mano-bhishtam, we say in this way.

So in this way Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada, he also preached all over the world through his disciples, especially in the Western countries, Srila Bhaktivedanta Svami Maharaja he fulfilled his Guru’s desires and all Western devotees completely indebted to Bhaktivedanta Svami Maharaja and today is very super excellent auspicious day, that Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada’s Appearance day and just I want to speak only few words, Srila Bhakti Prajnana Keshava Gosvami Maharaja he also glorified about his Gurudeva in a that is called, Prabhupada’s Arati:

Srila Prabhupada Arati

This is very nice beautiful arati. Arati, ar means direct, ati means deep attachment, Srila Bhakti Prajnana Keshava Gosvami Maharaja properly and perfectly glorified about his Gurupada-padma Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada. Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada he manifested the birthplace of Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, that is called Yogapitha, birthplace of Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and he also established the temple and all the jivas, baddhas and muktas, how they worshipped his Thakurji. So for this regard, how will worship our Thakurji with the five types of ingredients? First he also explained about incense. Sugandha saurabha manohara, that means Gurupada-padma, all his lectures, hari-katha, and spread all over the world, that is called his saurabha. Another is pancha-rasa-seva-sikha, that is called the five types of prominent rasas: shanta, dasya, sakhya, vatsalya and madhurya-bhava, and pancha-maha-dipa, pancha-prema that is called shanta, dasya, sakhya, vatsalya and madhurya-prema. In madhurya-prema also manifested in five ways, that is called Srimati Radhika’s five types of sakhis: sakhi, nitya-sakhi, prana-sakhi, preshtha-sakhi and prana-preshtha-sakhi. Sakhi, nitya-sakhi and prana-sakhi, they are called manjari-bhava. Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura in Jaiva-dharma very clearly explained about manjari-bhava inside there, eleven moods and five stages, eka-dasha-bhava and pancha-dasha. And when this dipa, that means ghee lamps, when the ghee lamps with the five flames, the whole world, universe, completely illuminated. And also explained this there in transcendental world also, this madhurya-bhava also again divided into sambandhatmika and another is called kamatmika. Sambandhatmika in the heart of Nanda, Yashoda, Subala, Sridama, they serve to Krishna with their sambandha, that is called sambandhatmika-bhakti, and gopis prema, that is called kamatmika-bhakti, that kama means transcendental divine love.

premaiva gopa-rāmāṇāṁ
kāma ity agamat prathām
ity uddhavādayo ’py etaṁ
vāñchanti bhagavat-priyāḥ

Bhakti-rasamrita-sindhu (1.2.285)

[Although the dealings of the gopīs with Kṛṣṇa are on the platform of pure love of Godhead, such dealings are sometimes considered to be lusty. But because they are completely spiritual, Uddhava and all the other dearmost devotees of the Lord desire to participate in them.]

So transcendental lust, aprakrita-kama, also again divided into: one is called sambhoga-iccha-mayi and another is called tat-tat-bhava-iccha-mayi. Sambhoga-iccha-mayi, that means sometimes Lalita, Vishakha independently they meet with Krishna so for this regard they are belong to sambhoga-iccha-mayibhakti and another is called tat-tat-bhava-iccha-mayibhakti, that means the some gopis, nitya-sakhi and prana-sakhi, they absolutely one-pointed with Srimati Radhika, even they dream they would never think they would meet independently with Krishna, even in their dreams, they never thinking independently meet with Krishna, they are one-pointed with Srimati Radhika. So for this regard, Srimati Radhika, all kinds of mood, bhavas, automatically manifested in the heart of the manjaris. There is bhava-ullasa-rati, many things in there. So for this regard, Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura manifested this book, Jaiva-dharma, everything, actually Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada, he preached his, this desire, how his sadhaka developed his sadhana-bhajana, enter in manjaru-bhava. Actually this manjari-bhava, Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu indiscriminately distributed all over the world, those who are great fortune, saubhagyavana, they will accept this mood, Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada also explained those who are saubhagyavana-jiva they will be take shelter of lotus feet of bona-fide Guru and listen this katha

anāradhya rādhā-padāmbhoja-reṇum
anāśritya vṛndāṭavīḿ tat-padāńkam
asambhāṣya tad-bhāva-gambhīra-cittān
kutaḥ śyāma-sindho rasa-syāva-gāhaḥ

Sankalpa Prakasha Stotra (1)

[Without worshipping the pollen of Sri Radha’s lotus feet, without taking shelter of Vrindavana, which bears Her footprints, and without respectfully greeting the great souls whose hearts are filled with deep love for Her, how will one be able to plunge into the nectar ocean of love for Lord Krishna?]

Śyāma-sindho means shringara-rasa, those who want to vraja-parakiya-shringara-rasa, they have to follow the three principles: they will be one-pointed with Srimati Radhika, called radha-eka-nishtha. Second, they have to stay in Vrindavana, but Vrindavana, they stay in radha-patya-bhumi, Vrindavana, where Srimati Radhika, She dominated that place, like Radha-kunda, Nidhuvana, Nikunjavana, that is called radha-adhipatya-bhumi, and third, have to associate with very high-class exalted vraja-rasika sadhu and guru

tāra bhakta-saṅge sadā
rasa-līlā-prema-kathā
ye kare se pāya ghanaśyāma

Ana katha na bolibo (9)
by Srila Narottama dasa Thakura

[A person who, in the company of the devotees, again and again hears the stories of the pure love in the rasa-dance pastimes will attain Lord Krsna, who is dark as a monsoon cloud.]

Always associate with high-class exalted vraja-rasika sadhu and guru and listen Krishna’s sweet amorous pastimes, then you will attain highest perfection goal, so in this way Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada he established this thing because jivas manifested from the marginal potency, tatasthashakti, that one kinds of potential inside his heart.

nitya-siddha kṛṣṇa-prema ‘sādhya’ kabhu naya
śravaṇādi-śuddha-citte karaye udaya

Chaitanya-charitamrita (Madhya-lila 22.107)

[Pure love for Krishna is eternally established in the hearts of the living entities. It is not something to be gained from another source. When the heart is purified by hearing and chanting, this love naturally awakens.]

Just listen krishna-katha and that things will manifest in your heart. You have already. Srimati Syamarani Didi, she actual manifested Gurudeva’s desires, she manifested that book, Svarupa of the Jiva, that book is very important, everybody, again and again, have to read this book, otherwise they will confuse, they will go babajis line here and there because they say: according to your association, you will get, this is the completely misconception.

(Gurudeva now ends with his closing prayers, but then the Zoom class is running ahead of  time, so Gurudeva is invited to speak more…I haven’t typed this out, but will if need be.)

Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada also preached all over the world, because sometimes babaji-sampradayas they are also misconception about Gaudiya sampradayas. They are thinking Gaudiya sampradayas, that means those who are coming in the line of Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada just they chewed the, just the seed of the mangoes, they are not taking the mango juice, but this the completely wrong conception. Because Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada and all our guru-varga, first also explain how sadhakas, sadhaka, how to remove the anartha from their heart. If you not remove the anarthas from your heart you cannot realise shuddha-bhakti. For this regard, Rupa Gosvamipada very clearly explains this way:

anyābhilāṣitā-śūnyaṁ
jñāna-karmādy-anāvṛtam
ānukūlyena kṛṣṇānu-
śīlanaṁ bhaktir uttamā

Bhakti-rasamrita-sindhu (1.1.11)

[The cultivation of activities that are meant exclusively for the pleasure of Sri Krishna, or in other words the uninterrupted flow of service to Sri Krishna, performed through all endeavours of the body, mind and speech, and through the expression of various spiritual sentiments (bhavas), which is not covered by jnana (knowledge aimed at impersonal liberation) and karma (reward-seeking activity), and which is devoid of all desires other than the aspiration to bring happiness to Sri Krishna, is called uttama-bhakti, pure devotional service.]

Uttama-bhakti. Uttama-bhakti is called the highest devotional service to Lord. The one who practice the highest devotional service to Lord, uttama-bhakti, you first have to cultivate his heart. So therefore Rupa Gosvamipada again he manifested his grantha, The Nectar of Instruction:

vāco vegaṁ manasaḥ krodha-vegaṁ
jihvā-vegam udaropastha-vegam
etān vegān yo viṣaheta dhīraḥ
sarvām apīmāṁ pṛthivīṁ sa śiṣyāt

Upadeshamrita (1)

[A sober person who can tolerate the urge to speak, the mind’s demands, the actions of anger and the urges of the tongue, belly and genitals is qualified to make disciples all over the world.]

atyāhāraḥ prayāsaś ca
prajalpo niyamāgrahaḥ
jana-saṅgaś ca laulyaṁ ca
ṣaḍbhir bhaktir vinaśyati

Upadeshamrita (2)

[One’s devotional service is spoiled when he becomes too entangled in the following six activities: (1) eating more than necessary or collecting more funds than required; (2) over-endeavoring for mundane things that are very difficult to obtain; (3) talking unnecessarily about mundane subject matters; (4) practising the scriptural rules and regulations only for the sake of following them and not for the sake of spiritual advancement, or rejecting the rules and regulations of the scriptures and working independently or whimsically; (5) associating with worldly-minded persons who are not interested in Krishna consciousness; and (6) being greedy for mundane achievements.]

These two verse of Nectar of Instruction are very important. One who not control the urges of his senses, how possible they will attain shuddha-bhakti? Give an example, if you cultivate your field, and planted the seed, first you have to cultivate the field and throw out all kinds of unwanted things from your land, big big stones, these things. In the same way, sadhaka first to clean his heart, and simultaneously also to remember many sweet pastimes of Krishna:

tan-nāma-rūpa-caritādi-sukīrtanānu-
smṛtyoḥ krameṇa rasanā-manasī niyojya
tiṣṭhan vraje tad-anurāgi-janānugāmī
kālaṁ nayed akhilam ity upadeśa-sāram

Upadeshamrita (8)

[The essence of all advice is that one should utilise one’s full time – twenty-four hours a day – in nicely chanting and remembering the Lord’s divine name, transcendental form, qualities and eternal pastimes, thereby gradually engaging one’s tongue and mind. In this way one should reside in Vraja [Goloka Vrindavana-dhama] and serve Krishna under the guidance of devotees. One should follow in the footsteps of the Lord’s beloved devotees, who are deeply attached to His devotional service.]

Srila Rupa Gosvamipada in his Nectar of Instruction, tan-nāma-rūpa-caritādi-sukīrtanānu-smṛtyoḥ, always chant Krishna’s sweet madhurya-nama

śrī-kṛṣṇa gopāla hare mukunda
govinda he nanda-kiśora kṛṣṇa
hā śrī-yaśodā-tanaya prasīda
śrī-vallavī-jīvana rādhikeśa

Brihad-bhagavatamrita (2.4.7)

[Sri Krishna, Gopala, Hari, Mukunda! O youthful son of Nanda! O darling son of Sri Yashoda, be pleased with me. O life of the gopis! O master of Sri Radhika!]

Always chant Krishna’s sweet madhurya name, sweet name. Nama-sankirtana, in this Kali-yuga, everything will be received by the chanting of Krishna’s sweet name, madhurya-nama: gāy gorā madhura svare. So we have to do sadhana-bhajana and chant holy names, and how to remove all kinds of unwanted things from our heart then self-realisation will come.

tāra madhye sarva-śreṣṭha nāma-saṅkīrtana
niraparādhe nāma laile pāya prema-dhana

Chaitanya-charitamrita (Antya-lila 4.71)

[Of the nine processes of devotional service, the most important is to always chant the holy name of the Lord. If one does so, avoiding the ten kinds of offences, one very easily obtains the most valuable love of Godhead.]

Niraparādhe , give up all kinds of offences then shuddha-nama will be manifest in our tongue. And by this condition, always associate with high-class exalted pure devotee, shuddha-bhakta-sanga. Without bhakta-sanga, how possible shuddha-bhakti will manifest in our heart? And always listen to krishna-lila-kathamrita. Shukadeva Gosvamipada told to Pariksit Maharaja, “Hey Pariksit Maharaja, now your time has almost come. That means according to the rules, you have to depart from this material world. So you also concentrate your mind Krishna’s sweet lila, lila-katha-nishevanam, without listen to lila-katha, your heart will be never overjoyed, so lila-katha-nishevanam, you have to listen Krishna’s sweet amorous pastimes. But this amorous pastime you have to listen from high-class exalted Vaishnava. So for this regard in rasa-lilas last shlokas, Srila Shukhadeva Gosvamipada told to Pariksit Maharaja:

vikrīḍitaṁ vraja-vadhūbhir idaṁ ca viṣṇoḥ
śraddhānvito ’nuśṛṇuyād atha varṇayed yaḥ
bhaktiṁ parāṁ bhagavati pratilabhya kāmaṁ
hṛd-rogam āśv apahinoty acireṇa dhīraḥ

Srimad-Bhagavatam (10.33.39)

[Anyone who faithfully hears or describes the Lord’s playful affairs with the young gopis of Vrindavana will attain the Lord’s pure devotional service. Thus he will quickly become sober and conquer lust, the disease of the heart.]

All your lust, anger will be disappeared if you listen high-class Krishna’s rasa-lila-katha from the lotus lips of shuddha-vaishnavas. So, vikrīḍitaṁ vraja-vadhūbhir idaṁ ca viṣṇoḥ
śraddhānvito, with firm faith, who has performed this rasa-lila? Krishna who is the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Svayam Bhagavan. Who is Krishna? Dhira-lalita-nayaka Krishna, He is performing this rasa-lila. This is also very clearly explained this way. Sometimes also explained in Srimad-Bhagavatam. Janmādy asya yato ’nvayād itarataś cārtheṣv abhijñaḥ svarāṭ. In this shloka also we explained satyaṁ paraṁ dhīmahi, we meditate Krishna, satya vastu parama-satta, Absolute truth Krishna, but who is Krishna? Dvarakadhisha Krishna? Mathuradhisha Krishna? Vrindavana Krishna. Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada in his lecture also explain: purna, purnatara and purnatama, so Dvaraka Krishna, He is called purna, full, and purnatara, that is called living in Mathura, and purnatama-Krishna that means Vrajendra-nandana Shyamasundara. Vrajendra-nandana Shyamasundara is also nayaka-shiromani. Srimati Radhika, She is called nayika-shiromani, crowns and jewels of the heroine. And Krishna, He is called crowns and jewels of hero. When Srimati Radhika manifested Her svadhina-bhartrika-nayika, that time Krishna manifested His, that is called, His dhira-lalita-nayaka. Because nayaka-prakarana-katha, Srila Rupa Gosvamipada very clearly explained ninety six types of hero and heroine, three hundred and sixty types of nayika, heroine. But here is the ninety six types of hero and among of the ninety six types of hero, Krishna is the top-most hero, that is called dhira-lalita-nayaka. Only dhira-lalita-nayaka can perform rasa dance. Because dhira-lalita-nayaka have special four qualifications: nishchintata, completely free mind, no any anxiety, anxiousness; parihasapatu, He is very expert how to look, laughing, joking with His consort; preyasi vasibhuta, completely controlled with His consort and another of His qualification is called, what is it called? So in this way, dhira-lalita-nayaka Krishna nava-tarunya, always ever-fresh youthful form. So Krishna is called  dhira-lalita-nayaka. So  dhira-lalita-nayaka only can perform rasa dance. Ramachandra cannot perform rasa dance, even Dvarakadhisha Krishna cannot to perform rasa dance, only  dhira-lalita-nayaka Krishna Vrajendra-nandana Shyamasundara, He can perform rasa dance.

So many things Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada in his commentary, especially in Chaitanya-charitamrita Anubhashya, he also discussed these things. Those who are very qualified person they also search these things and they realise what Prabhupada is giving to us. In all his associates, especially Srila Gurudeva, Srila Narayana Gosvami Maharaja, he preached all over the world, this mood, gopi mood, especially how everybody to submerge in the mood of manjari-bhava is there. Because without manjari-bhava-upasana, our life is not complete. So everybody has to absorb Srila Gurudeva lila-katha, hari-katha, and submerge in the mood of Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada, so I again and again bow down my forehead lotus feet of my Gurupada-padma, all of our guru-varga, and Vaishnava and Vaishnavis.

vāñchā-kalpa-tarubhyaś ca
kṛpā-sindhubhya eva ca
patitānāṁ pāvanebhyo
vaiṣṇavebhyo namo namaḥ

Thank for you for all those who are listen hari-katha, I pay my obeisances to the lotus feet of all my audience, because Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada he also told, “They are my real guru. Because if they will not come in front of me, I will speak hari-katha to whom? I am conditioned soul, if you not speak hari-katha, then maya-katha will come and will catch my throat.” Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada told these things also. So all the audience, they are my guru. Guru protects his disciples from the maya, in the same way, Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Prabhupada he told, “All the audience, shrota, they as my guru.

vāñchā-kalpa-tarubhyaś ca
kṛpā-sindhubhya eva ca
patitānāṁ pāvanebhyo

Thank you for your kindness. Hare Krishna!
